No Compassion
This doctor must be burned out. Because he does not take patients seriously. If you call his staff with a problem with side effects they tell you there is NO SUCH THING AS A SIDE EFFECT. If you tell him you have side effects, he will tell you there is NO SUCH THING AS A SIDE EFFECT. HE WANTS FULL ADHERENCE TO ALL MEDICATION PROTOCOLS, whether the protocol makes you sick or not. He didn’t do labs, I had to bring them in and ask him why numbers were off before he acknowledged a problem. He DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS. He is mostly interested in studying medications, and NOT how patients are doing. He only cares about what $$$ and data you can bring to the table. I lost trust in doctors and in the system over there and Would NEVER GO BACK.

I saw Dr Drenning for the first time about 10 years ago. He has always taken the time to listen to me and then explain everything to me. I have never felt rushed by him and he is always very thorough!!! Wouldn’t want anyone else for my cardiologist

Absolutely no bedside manner. He is kind of cold and matter-of-fact. He was in and out pretty quickly. I'm not sure why such doctors aren't cognizant of or care about the level of fear patients and families have. He will be a patient one day.

Dr Drenning did my moms arterialgram and we, the family, was told there wasn’t much that can be done. She had several blockages and the RCA you couldn’t do anything with it because of the calcium buildup. He said she needed to lose weight, take medicine, and then do one stent at a time but couldn’t do anything with the RCA. We was referred to a different dr by our primary cardiologist and she had 4 stents placed and the RCA was opened up. He doesn’t have a good bedside manner and not hopeful.

Dr. Drenning has been my cardiologist of choice for a number of years. He has performed heart catheter procedures and placed a stent in a problem artery. He treats my MVP, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and has helped me understand and respond to symptoms associated with these issues. He answers my questions in words I can understand. He takes as much time with me that I need. He is A+++++ in my judgement.

Dr. Drenning listened to me in the office, and responded kindly. He and his staff worked to get my surgery scheduled quickly and to get all tests done while I was already in town. Getting the initial appointment took some effort, but wait times are minimal. Staff is extremely friendly and capable.
