Been a bit now, but basically, I liked Dr Drucker, a bit curt maybe but he took time with me. How ever the technicians doing the preliminary exams were borderline. I explained I'm a ,bit hard of hearing and I also have a spot in my right eye that hampers the exam of that eye. Staff were visibly irritated. I felt dismissed and not worth their time.

Dr Drucker has been very competent, great at answering questions and making decisions regarding my eye care. He’s in high demand, so may seem rushed, but I trust his judgement and have had good results.

Time to Retire
Rushed. Doesn't seem to care about your concerns. Doesn't encourage questions or take the time to explain the details. Zero bedside manners. He belittles you when you do share concerns or ask questions.

Great Doctor. Very competent. Great Surgeon.
My optometrist recommended that I see Dr. Drucker about an epiretinal membrane for possible removal. I saw him and he (and his great staff) explained the problem and told me of the various options. He did not push anything on me and recommended that I simply "wait and see" if I needed surgery later. Well, I ended up having it done and he did a great job. No complications. No post-op pain. Very patient in answering all of my questions. His staff (esp Taylor and Laurel) were also great. I really recommend him and his Bellevue office staff

Dr.Drucker may be a good retina specialist, but has terrible bedside manner. Would not answer any questions, rushes through his part of the exam. Schedules 40 patients per day. I spent 1 1/2 hours in the office having to wait for all the different rooms to open for each part of the exam. Bad experience

Followup from previous laser treatment. Very little waiting time. Dr. Drucker is clearly very knowledgable regarding my condition. Told me what to expect going forward. Provided concise, meaningful explanations. Gave me time to ask questions.

I don't question his abilities at all but he treats you like you are just on a conveyor belt and barely talks to you and if you ask any questions he gets a little bothered. I want a Doctor that I can talk to and be a partner in my care with not just another patient who is just a number in line to see him. His staff is excellent.

Dr, Drucker is all business and very professional and knowledgeable Retina Specialist. In 2013 my retina was separated and I had blurry vision in my right eye. Dr. treated me immediately and with several follow ups my vision went back to normal and has been ever since. Now (2020) I still go back once a year for a checkup. His staff is also very professional.

Dr Drucker was thorough and was willing to spend the time necessary to fully examine my eye to determine the exact issue. He described what he found, things which would indicate a more severe problem, and recommended I come back for a recheck rather than perform surgery. I felt confident in his examination and the path forward.

Great medical staff and office location. This guy has absolutely no concept of tact or patient privacy. If you would like to get more than 5 minutes with your doctor and a feeling that you actually matter to him as a patient and not just a paycheck to his bottom line, this is not the place for you.

I realized Monday afternoon I had a detached. My optermatrist set up an appointment first thing Tuesday morning at 9 am. Dr. Drucker and his staff examined my eye, determined that it was a detached retina, and scheduled an immediate surgery. I was at the hospital by 11 am, in surgery at noon, and released by 3 pm. Dr. Drucker and staff at Retina Consultants were very professional and efficient: no chit-chat or BS. When your eyesight is at stake, this exactly what you want.

Staff was great, supportive, warm, and efficient. The doctor however was curt, did not show me all the photos they took of my eye. He said, You have age related gel coming loose. Your Retina may tear. Come back in a month. He was not friendly or helpful, or really supportive about my eye condition. Not happy...
