Bad News Bears
This guy removed my prostate back in 2020 and I spent nearly 4 months in the hospital due to internal bleeding and I ended up with empty bank accounts and a couple years going through multiple surgeries from different doctors to reverse all the damage.

I met with Dr Duschene as a referred patient after a diagnosis of Renal Cell Carcinoma. He was very pleasant. He outlined the options answered all my questions and in the end we decided that surgery with the DaVinci robot was the best solution. He was able to remove the malignancy AND save my rt Kidney. Follow up exam found him to be just a caring, understanding and empathetic as before the surgery. Recovery for the proceedure was easy and I required no Chemo or radiation therapy.

Dr. Duchene is amazing. I am a nurse and had a rare kidney infection that resulted in a non-functioning left kidney. He was able to remove the kidney laparoscopically, which is not always possible with this condition. He has a calm demeanor and wonderful bedside manor. He answered all our questions. He even took pictures of my kidney upon my request! I would highly recommend him!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Duchene. He performed a nephrectomy on my 84-year-old mom to remove the source of her recurrent UTIs that were becoming antibiotic-resistant. The kidney had a very large abscess on it that was harboring bacteria. He is very sharp. He requested several tests and imaging scans and did his homework to make sure he knew everything about her condition and her health complications before agreeing to do anything. He was thoroughly prepared. He is kind, compassionate, and friendly. He has always made us feel like he had plenty of time to explain the procedure and the risks and to answer all of our questions. I'm glad he didn't treat us like we were in a drive-thru. He took the time to do everything right. The surgery went smoothly, and my mom is doing great now. Thank you, Dr. Duchene.

Dr Duchene is great! My PSA was a little high and we had been monitoring it for several years before it took a jump. At that point he said it was time to remove the prostate. He and his residents did a great job of explaining what all that would mean in terms of surgery and in terms of continuing to enjoy my life. His bedside manner is a little dry, but I would recommend him to anyone!!

Dr. Duchene is very considerate of his patients. He advised me on my surgery options and chose the one that best suited my needs. He saved my left kidney, when more then likely, I was going to lose it. I would highly recommend Dr. Duchene!
