Dr Eckerly was wonderful at helping me with ankelosing spondylitis; AS. We tried many avenues for treatment and pain releif. Also managed my high blood pressure and was a great Dr in guiding me after my PE...I could go on. 15 years of excellence in my opinion.

Contrary to how everyone else feels about Dr. Eckerle, I feel that Dr. Eckerle is like an Engineer. There is a problem with the human body and he looks at all of the variables that would make up someone DNA and then put you back together again like a new car. Dr. Eckerle and staff cares more about each individual that sees him and they work with you, not against you. They are not out to make a buck, but to make sure you are healthy again. Thank you Dr. Eckerle and staff.

I have been a patient of Dr Eckerle for many years and have no complaints. I am really going to miss him and Lori his nurse that has worked at GHC for many years. He is patient and always listens to my problems. Great person and doctor.

Simply put.......................................nice guy, but not very knowledgeable. Not sure if you can blame him or who he works for. His lack of concern about a persons health condition could prove dangerous. My diagnosis of his problem is.................complacency. They get out of school and that's it. Do yourself a favor and read the book "Undoctored". Good luck.

As with most doctors, he believes he has all of the answers. He is quite eager to write a prescription for what what he thinks might be ailing you, which have ended up in my junk drawer. There's been numerous occasions where he actually had no clue as to the cause of my ailments. I've ended contact with him and know I'll be better off for it. As with most consumer goods......shop around.

Dr. Eckerle has been my primary care doctor for over 20+ years. I have found his care to be very good. I have several chronic conditions which require monitoring. Whenever I need a referral to a specialist, he does it. He carefully listens to my concerns.

I don't know why I stayed with Dr. Erkerle for years, he never seemed interested in me as a human being, and was not proactive about my health--if I complained about a symptom he would respond, but that's it. Every visit it seemed like the first time I saw him, no warmth or personality at all, never joked or chatted about trivial things. Maybe he's just burnt out on providing medical care in a stressful environment. I happen to be gay, and got the feeling he wasn't comfortable with gay people.
