Dr. Frantz is one of the best doctors in the field of gastroenterology, And to top it off he is a very pleasant man that makes going to the doctor not so bad.

Dr. Frantz had amazing bedside manner. He made what I worried was a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation so much easier. He talked me through every step of the procedure. He knowledge was also exceptional. I would highly recommend seeing him for your GI needs!

Dr. Frantz is very pleasant. I thought that he listened to my concerns and explained my condition and recommended tests that would help get a clearer diagnosis. I saw him for Gastroparesis.

Dr. Frantz is not only an outstanding doctor, but an outstanding person. To begin with, as I waited in the waiting room I heard him working with his office staff to get extra special attention to several different patients, trying to get a rush on their lab work, squeezing in an appt for them , etc. (He did not violate confidentiality). I recently had surgery that caused some miserable and scary gastro issues. Although I’m an existing patient with a provider in Provo, they were unable to schedule me for an appt for 6 weeks (in Salem with a PA). My surgeon contacted Dr Frantz, and Dr Frantz dropped everything to get me in the same day. It happened to be right before the 4th of July weekend (and Dr Frantz’s son’s wedding). At seemingly no inconvenience to Dr Frantz, he stayed late and helped me, although I was not even one of his own patients. He took a long time with me, and was very thorough. I’m completely in awe of his kindness. He was very knowledgeable as well.

While his patient was actively seizing he refused to check in claiming it was just “panic”. After getting an RN in the room she quickly reacted and was luckily able to grab a doctor from the hall to get some medications on board. While the patient was in between siezures she repeatedly asked him to stop touching her while he proceeded to keep his hand on her thigh. He was flat out negligent and unaware of how to handle post-op complications. 15 years in medicine and he is the worst I have seen

Dr Frantz is a very good attentive Dr. What is severely lacking is staff that follows through on his orders. I called twice one morning regarding a lab test, was promised a quick return call, three working days later still no call. I canceled all further appointments.

Dr. Frantz did an endoscopy on me and found that I had stomach cancer. He called me and asked me to meet him in his office and told me in person. He spent so much time with me answering questions and showing concern. He gave me his cell phone number and told me to call him no matter what the time of day or night. The next day, I had another test and he called me around 7:00 pm to give the results to me. He treats you like you are his only patient and he sincerely cares about you.

Dr. Frantz is very kind and takes the time to listen to all of your concerns. I feel like he takes the time to make sure you know exactly what you can do to help yourself to get better. I also love his PA Adriane - they are an amazing team.

Dr Frantz is very compassionate in a difficult time. He is great at figuring out what is wrong. I trust him completely.

I really appreciated the time Dr. Frantz took with me. I felt he really listened to my concerns and reviewed everything with me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know. He didn't act like he was in a hurry and I felt he really cares.

Dr. Frantz is one of the most incredible, approachable, knowledge Physician I know. Communicating and understanding him is easy and besides he so very kind.

He spends time listening, more so than any other doctor with whom I have visited, and is great with explanations. Plus, he has a handout and a wall clock showing the types of stools.
