Dr. David Friedman, MD

I absolutely love Dr. Friedman. I have been seeing him for over a year now and I am so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I love that he is excellent in explaining everything to where you can understand what is going on and what needs to be done. if you don't get it, he draws pictures. I can tell you from experience, Dr. Friedman in committed to patients and their well being, he truly cares. I heard recently that he is one of the top hematologist in San Antonio. That's awesome.

Dr. Friedman is efficient, thorough and expert in class! He takes his time to understand what’s going on with each patient, studies the data, and advises effectively. He shows a tremendous amount of care and compassion. We are grateful for his expertise!

Dr Friedman is a genuinely caring doctor. He always puts me at ease, explaining test results thoroughly, answering my all questions.

The good thing about Dr. Friedman is he takes his time to explain your health issues. This causes him to be somewhat late for appointments in the afternoon. However, he is a complete gentleman and explains things thoroughly. We should feel lucky to have an MD such as Dr. Friedman.

My sons are also pleased with his care of me.Sometimes my elder son comes with me to my appointment. He reminds me of my childhood Dr.,he cares! Dr. Friedman took me on after I fired my original oncologist. He fit me in 2 days before Christmas. He was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, He took the time to explain things to me, answered my questions, never rushed. When waiting for appointments, if he would see me, he would walk over and give me a hug and tell me he would be with me soon. He does run behind, BUT that is because he is treating another patient EXACTLY like he treats you. He remembers you and things about you, like your occupation, your spouses name, small things that make you feel like you are important. And, you are important to him! Highly recommend this amazing doctor!

Dr. Friedman, is great. But his staff are not. The doctor tells them to do something and they don’t. Or they do what they want.

He is caring.

Sometimes takes long to be seen, everything else is great especially how Dr. Freidman show he's a very caring person. He always gives me feed back and answers all my questions without hesitation. I would recommend Dr. Freidman and Texas Oncology to anyone.
