Bad doctor now leaving NY state to practice in another state most likely due to pending legal matters. Pushed for a surgery after a serious full and the surgery he did required so far 8 months in bed without being able to walk when there was an alternative surgery that he advised against most likely because he made more money doing the procedure the way he did. Now it is turning out that the alternative method should have been done all along and he is saying that they are going to have to redo the original surgery with the alternative method which means more months in bed. I would say stay away from this doctor but since he is leaving the state in 2 weeks he will not be around to inflict the pain that he has already done

My daughter was sent here as a recommendation from emergency room. Its disgraceful that he was only interested in Surgery. He didnt follow up with meds and was done when she said " no surgery". This whole system stinks. Right now i have her in pain and noone cares because she didnt want surgery. Do not go there

Not only is Dr. Galos a wonderful surgeon (I underwent quite a complex six hour surgery and he did an amazing job; this is not only my view but my neurologist even commented on it). Dr. Galos is also one of the most down to earth and caring doctors you can ask for. He has PERSONALLY called me six or seven times, whether it was to review results, check to make sure I was alright after a hospital visit, and even to make sure my physical therapy was going well. You could not be in better hands!
