He is very rude
The visit was fine it what happened a year later. This company can’t bill insurance companies properly. Then when you try to fix or help them get paid for service they are very very rude. The actual owner doctor Dr.Galpern told me he needed his money to feed his family. Told me my child was fixed because of him. All I wanted was for them to actual submit the claim to my child’s insurance company so they could get paid, but instead they where rude him and his office manager or whom ever always answers the phone her name starts with a D. She actual hung up in the face of me and my child’s insurance company. They are of no assistance and they have no clue as to what’s going on. They couldn’t tell me why my child was denied and my insurance company has never received a claim. What they wanted to do was wait a year and try to collect the full balance from me. Instead of doing there job. They are definitely not a good place when the staff is rude and the doctor talks to me as I’ve done some

Be careful. I called in advance to confirm they were in network with my insurance, and they told me they were. Turns out they aren’t. Six months later, I received a bill for $350, and the office wouldn’t budge despite misleading me before.

Two of our children have gone to Dr. Galpern for various issues, including broken arms, fingers, and even a ganglion cyst. What impresses me about Dr. David Galpern is that, in addition to being an extremely proficient, professional hand surgeon, his bedside manner is UNMATCHED. He treats his patients with warmth and puts even young, scared patients in a calm mindset. He exudes calm confidence, and you know that you have found a professional that will do whatever he can do to help you. My children and I highly recommend him to people of all ages.

I was a patient of the other surgeon who shared a practice space. On more than one visit to the therapy clinic, I could hear Dr. Galpern SCREAMING at someone - staff or patient, I don't know, but it was very unprofessional! I would not want to be treated by an MD who operated that way in his own office.

My son had his finger print (1mm deep) on a ring finger completely cut off that needed to be looked over after an ER visit. Called his office and was put on his archaic recorder. No response after two calls. How much did they pay Chippenham?

Dr. Galpern is thoughtful, funny, and considerate. He treated my hand/wrist after a bad fall. He was able to get me to a healthy state without surgery but with a cast instead. His office team is extremely nice and easy to work with. I had no problems with scheduling appointments and the office generally runs on time. I highly recommend that if you need a hand doctor, see D. G!

First time meeting with Dr. Galpern. He evaluated my finger and gave me multiple options on treatment. He recommended non-invasive treatment. This made me feel good. I will be out of town when it will be time for re-evaluation. He wasn't pushing me to come back to be seen. He even offered to meet me out of town, as we'll be in the same area at the time to re-evaluate. I would recommend Dr. Galpern 100%

Dr. Galpern and his staff were extremely easy to work with. We met Dr. Galpern in the ER and immediately felt comfortable with him. He answered all our questions and made sure we were comfortable with surgery and the immediate recovery plan. It was nice to have someone you knew you could trust guide you through the surgical process. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and everyone!

Dr. Galpern was very informative at every visit. He also walked me through every step and procedure. I had no insurance so i was self pay but he didn't make me feel like he wasn't doing procedures because of money. Dr. Galpern was very easy to talk to and his Nurse assistant Katie was great at every visit. She has a very gentle hand and keep me informed. They are an awesome team.
