Dr. David Garras, MD

Dr. Garris performed surgery on my left foot over 5 years ago and now I may possibly may need surgery on my right foot. There is no other Doctor in this world that I would allow to perform surgery on me other than Dr. Garris! Dr . Garris is professional yet he has such a kind spirit! I’m always amazed at how at ease he makes you feel! He treats you like family which is why no matter how far I have I have to travel, I will always make the trip because he truly is an awesome doctor and makes you feel well cared for!!

Nice customer service and professional kindness from all employees. I wish Dr. Garras could be my main doctor along with his staff.

I visited Dr. Garras about a problem I had been having for a few months. After taking a few xrays, he made a diagnosis and gave me a plan for recovery. I appreciated the time he took to access my questions and concerns, and he gave honest responses that I could easily understand. Dr. Garras has a warm and welcoming demeanor that can put a patient at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Garras.

Dr Garras made me feel comfortable right away. He was patient, listened to everything I told him about my injury and took time to explain his diagnosis.

Was patient answered all the questions weather small or seemingly insignificant, took the time needed to explain the entire process from start to finish ! Need more like this !

This was my first appointment at Midwest and everyone from the front desk, to the xray, and the medical assistants were all super sweet and kind. Both Emily and Dr. Garras are great. I felt very comfortable with both of them and I left my appointment finally having a clear understanding of my injury and what my next steps are.

I cannot Dr Garris. In 11 weeks of treatment I have never met the man. I’ve seen Sammy and Emily who have been absolutely wonderful. I don’t know why my insurance should pay any bills from Dr Garris since I have never even met him.

I was there to see the Dr. Garas' PA, Emily, and I was extremely impressed with her. She explained thoroughly the results of my tests. She checked my ankle and explained what the issue was and what can be done to resolve the problem. All of this was done in kindness, compassion and with an explanation a lay person can understand. How fortunate Midwest Orthopedic is to have Emily on your staff.

Dr Garras repaired my broken ankle PERFECTLY 3 years ago. He currently manages my arthritic condition effectively, with specific recommendations for a long term solution. Fellowship trained as an Orthopedic Foot and Ankle specialist from a world renowned program I highly recommend him to anyone with debilitating foot and ankle pain.

Beginning with the wonderful staff to my exam with Dr. Garras it was a smooth and pleasant experience. Dr. Garras is world class and his approach to the wellbeing of his patient is second to none. He sets a plan in motion that fits the patients goals with realistic expectations. I would recommend him immediately!

Dr. Garras was very, understanding, and took the time to explain, in layman’s terms, my medical condition. He was extremely professional & took the time to answer all my questions, putting me at ease. He set a plan of action to resolve my issues. I was extremely pleased & would highly recommend him to others in the future.

I saw Dr. Garras two years ago for a broken foot from a car accident. I bonded with him immediately. I had/have a hammer two on the same foot which I discussed with him at the time and told him I would be back at a later date to have it surgically repaired. I recently broke the same toe and contacted his office for him to look at the toe and schedule the surgery for the hammer toe. I was told I would have to see a PA prior to seeing Dr. Garras. I’m very disappointed since I am a previous patient. I told the office I was not going to be charged for a PA visit and that I would go elsewhere. I don’t want to go elsewhere, I want to see Dr. Garras.

I'm happy that I'm finally getting the help that I need. He doesn't beat around the bush and gets things done.
