Caring, concerned, listens
I had very difficult knees. He researched my issue thoroughly and consulted with other surgeons. No ego involved. Great sense of humor, which made a difficult thing easier. Terrific office.

Excellent Provider
I'm alive today because of Dr. Gibson. He replaced my hip when no one else would and I couldn't be more happy with the results. I'm actually walking again without any assistance or devices. You may have to wait a while for an office visit, had this happen a couple of times. Just remember that there are many times patients need to be seen right away for an emergency. He is always worth the wait!

good choice
After evaluating several surgeons in my area, I elected to engage Dr. Gibson. His bedside manner is exemplary, and I always feel he gives me as much time as I need to get answers to questions. He has done full knee replacements on both sides, six years apart and the results have been phenomenal. His skills are exceptional and his post operative care was so instrumental in helping me optimize my rehab experience. To be pain free for the first time in 20+ years can only be described as pure joy and has elevated my quality of life immeasurably. I highly recommend him.

Unprofessional
Dr.Gibson is very unprofessional, left me waiting to see him for almost 2 hours without any communication. Kept sending students in asking repeated questions. When asked when will I see him no one had answers. Stood in the hallway discussing my case in the open rather then coming into the room to discuss it with me after I had been waiting on him for almost 2 hours. With no explanation why and was very ignorant and nasty once I told him I wouldn’t wait anymore. He needs to come off of his high horses! He isn’t the only doctor out here and there are certainly better doctors who would treat their patients better!! Especially new ones!! Very disappointed! 1st impressions are the lasting impressions!!

I can walk again with no pain
My knee replacement was successful. I felt fine and then had a knee revision. I messed it up and dr Gibson fixed it. I now can walk with no pain. I am grateful. He is a very upbeat person and kind. Glad I trusted him: he delivered.

Before Dr. Gibson went to Yale he was a very good surgeon. I don’t know what happened to him once he went to Yale. He became very uncaring I would never recommend him for anyone needing to go undergo a revision of any joint surgery. He is a narcissistic and blames everything on the patient rather than taking on any responsibility himself. Neither he nor any of his partners actually do a physical exam on the patients they go totally by x-rays, And as mentioned they have a tendency to blame the patient or something the patient is doing rather than taking any responsibility on themselves. Years ago I would’ve told anyone to go out here. I am leaving this practice
