My children are 25 and 23 now, but when my oldest was 7 years old. Dr. Gottsegan saved his life. My son had a rare condition called Kawasaki Syndrome and due to the doctors diligence, my son is alive to talk about it. There are SO MANY factors that go into diagnosing this and if wrong, the medicine can be fatal; add to that there is only a certain amount of time that the patient needs to get the medicine within from the time of the start of it's symptoms, and Dr. Gottsegan was almost out of time at that point already. He consulted with other doctors from Mass to California, to London to try to make absolutely sure that his diagnosis was as correct as he could possibly be. He saved my son's life and we will be FOREVER grateful. He was always diligent and understanding, patient and kind. We were blessed to be able to have him as physician for both of our children and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Gottsegen made me feel guilty for choosing not to breastfeed my daughter both in the hospital right after her birth and a few weeks later when I saw him about my daughter's constipation.
