Not that knowledgeable
I used to see Dr. Todd Hammond for years. And during that time suffered with migraines and was always told it was sinusitis and allergies. After seeing a SLU doctor, I learned I had A-typical migraines. I feel that I was left to suffer and deal with excruciating migraines when it seem relatively easy to diagnose what I was dealing with. After being prescribed the correct medication I can function again when the migraines strike. Dr. Hammond always made the visit feel rushed and he didn't truly listen to what I said. I don't really know why I didn't switch to a different doctor sooner. It was life changing. The other doctors in this office talked to you like they are reading from a script. The only decent doctor that I am aware of at this location was Dr. Catherine Remus on the pediatric side and she retired some time ago.

Seems to be a typical strip mall doctor. If you get beyond it hurts here he doesn't know what to do...this is a big test orderer guy. It's surprising because he has done this for a while. I just left his office fearing his lack of knowledge.

Since choosing him as my primary physician in January 2016, I have been to see him maybe 4-5 times. I have called his office several times and have never gotten a return call the same day. Sometime never. I called for a referral for my orthopedic doctor, his office told them they could not authorize a referral because I have not seen Dr Hammond since June 2015, I saw him about 3 weeks ago.The last 2 days I called 3-4 times and I received no return call. The worst ever. for another primary doctor
