Dr. David Hensley, MD

Dr Hensley and his staff are polite, courteous and professional. He and his staff are friendly while providing answers to patient questions. I never feel rushed. What a a Godsend.

My girlfriend and I drove from Plano to Arlington because my dermatologist had lots of respect for Dr. Hensley's knowledge of my new and rare autoimmune disease. When we entered the waiting room, we were immediately impressed with the warm and welcoming feeling. We were impressed with the uniqueness of the examining room which made us very comfortable. We were even more impressed with Dr. Hensley in the way he described my disease and lots of my anxiety was gone. I am confident that he will consult with my dermatologist in Plano to help her with my problem. Dr. Hensley is the best doctor I have ever had.

The doctor and his PA both failed to biopsy my skin problem that another dermatologist found to be squamous cell cancer. I had pointed out the skin problem to both of them over a several month period. The doctor does not do a full body scan at each yearly appointment, as I believe a dermatologist should do. The doctor is booked months in advance but one can see one of his PAs on relatively short notice.

NEVER!!! I came for a cosmetic procedure for rosacea. I had a bad response to the treatment. I had a swollen face and eyes for 2 weeks. When I returned for my 6 weeks follow up I told them I wasn't sure I wanted to do more treatments. They brought in one of Hensley's partners. He felt I hadn't healed enough and wanted to recheck in 4 weeks. When I returned I told them that I really didn't want to go thorough that again. I had paid 80% toward three treatments. They do not refund unused deposits.

Dr. Hensley is a very kind, gentle, concerned doctor. I have never gotten the feeling that he was "rushing through my treatment to get to the next patient". He answered all questions, listened to my fears, and assured me of his concern for my well-being. I highly recommend him. I am thankful that many of my friends are also patients of his. He removed a malignant melanoma, and I am very pleased with the treatment and follow up care. His office staff is excellent and that speaks well of him.

I went to see Dr. hensley 2years ago with a severe case of acne. He put me on acutane for a whole year.. He was very compassionate and caring of my situation.. And when i would have emergency flare ups the staff was really good about squeezing me in to have them injected.. After a year of completing treatment my skin looks amazing.. I will highly recommend Dr. Hensley to anyone.. My daughter is now a patient..
