Truly a great physician
Dr. Kamlet has been my physician for 5 years and I couldn't be more pleased with the care I have received. In addition to the excellent care received in the Manhattan office , over the last 5 years I have had occasion to call Dr. Kamlet during off hours, on weekends and while travelling when immediate health issues have come up and he responds quickly and is very kind and is always supportive. He is a rare physician these days who truly enjoys patient care.

His approach is comprehensive
This was my annual physical, and Dr. Kamlet spent two hours checking everything -- not just to look for how well I'm doing, but to determine how well I will be doing years from now. He also explained things in terms that even I could understand and laid out a plan for future maintenance and tests.

Dr Kalmet is empathic and diligent in his care
I feel very confident that Dr Kalmet knows my medical chart inside out. He picks up on absolutely everything.He has gone beyond the call of duty in conferring with both my endocrinologist and cardiologist. I very much appreciate that he has been willing to order advance tests for me such as an advanced lipid panel and is willing to order a CIMT so that I can chart my progress.He even gives out his home phone number. Who even does that any more? It's like having your own private physician!I feel like I have one less thing to worry about knowing that I have an involved, caring partner in my corner.

Excellent doctor for needs of the elderly
Excellent. At first he seems to be doing o routine questioning, but then he zeroes in on my specific needs and asks meaningful questions. He treats conservatively, but modifies his approach as required by the circumstances.

Great Initial Exam and enrollment with MDVIP

Never go to him. Highly arrogant and doesn't seem to care about your thoughts. As I described some of my symptoms, he replied his plate was full & did not have time to hear the story. Any time I asked questions or mentioned things I researched and wanted his thoughts, I was told 90% of what I read is not true and the clinic I went to prior can't compare to his caliber. I basically paid a co-pay, got blood drawn, and walked away with no follow up or resolution.
