Great Skin Cancer specialist!! None better. BUT SPECIFY when “making appointment” ONLY “Dr DAVID Kent or you MIGHT be seen by a residency student. I am a 20 year old patient & Dr Kent is taking lighter load with new staff doing internships under him they are assigned patients so the quality is not 100% as 20 years ago when Dr David Kent was a vibrant younger hustler still intent on building a name. 40,000 patients later he’s getting ready to turn the reins over to Dr Steven Kent and newcomers eager to be affiliated with his name. As usual, mistakes and oversights occur when residents make decisions. I was thankful he saw me and removed my growing cancer mole & preserved my younger face.

Outstanding care and extraordinary communication
My dermatologist referred me to Dr. Steven Kent for a small malignant melanoma on my cheek. Dr. Kent's medical skills are outstanding without doubt. However, what is also truly extraordinary is his team's communication skills. From the moment I met Dr. Kent, he clearly and patiently explained the diagnosis and the whole procedure. The night before my surgery, his associate, Dr. Herald, called me to see if I had questions. Later when I did have a question, Dr. Herald returned my call almost immediately. When the lab test found more cancer cells, Dr. Kent explained the situation and assured me that it would be addressed quickly. His nurse Alexis did an excellent job of bandaging me and answering my questions about wound care. I have never seen an organization with such extraordinary communication skills. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Kent and his team.

I first met Dr. Kent in May 2016 following a whirlwind of medical tests and unexplained symptoms. It's upon this first visit that I received the diagnosis -- a rare form of skin cancer. As a rather bewildered college student, I needed guidance and empathetic care. Dr. Kent and his fantastic team of nurses provided just that. Through surgeries and follow-up visits, they provided excellent, tailored care and support. I am thankful to Dr. Kent and his team for seeing and treating me as a holistic person rather than simply a medical case. Though the journey to healing was challenging, I am thankful to have journeyed with Dr. Kent and his team at Skin Care Physicians of Georgia.

I could never get in to see the doc only the PA. He froze a weird place on my face 3 times for a year!anything on the face should be biopsied early on. guess what? It's melanoma. All of the sudden I could see Dr. Kent that day! Who was very gruff and unfriendly as he knew he was going to have to remove 1/3 of my face on one side. I never went back. I hope they feel bad. I know hindsight is 20/20 but this is my FACE!

I have been a patient of dr. Kent's for at least 20 years. I have recommended him to numerous individuals as well as my family. I feel he is an excellent dermatologist. I started using dr. Kent many years ago when the previous surgeon I used said he wanted to send me to a really good surgeon that would not leave a scar.

I have been a patient and friend of Dr. Kent for about 25 years. He has performed numerous surgeries during that time. Some could have caused plastic surgery to be needed. But his superior knowledge and skill made such unnecessary. He is always most pleasant and treats me like his friend. I have no problem putting him at the top of the list, not just locally but nationally.

I have been a patient for a few years now and have always been extremely impressed with Dr. Kent's manner, staff and most importantly his results. I recommend Dr. Kent to everyone I know who sees a dermatologist, and everyone who asks about the dramatic change in my skin condition. He changed my life for the better when other Doctors told me I had to pretty much live with my condition. Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I could not be more pleased, I highly recommended Dr. Kent.

This guy has the worst attitude towards patients. He even yells at his staff in front of patients and presents an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional care environment. I would not recommend anyone see him. He clearly only cares about your money.

Poor office experience in both local offices - Very flippant attitude from PA in Warner Robins and Poor time management in Macon - a 3 hour procedure took 8 hours - spent 1 hour in surgery - 1 hour waiting on results - 1 hour stitching wound up and 5 hours just sitting around. This is after finally scheduling for surgery after a 3 month wait. Original biopsy on 7/8/2016 - Finally scheduled for surgery on October 24th. Will not use them again -
