Terrible ER Experience
Took my teenage daughter into the ER with a laceration to her face.It happened during a sporting event and the athletic trainer closed the wound with tape.Told my daughter we needed to go have it stitched.We had not seen the wound until Dr. Lesser removed the tape. While I was taking a photo of it, he walked to a cabinet,did something and walked back to my daughter and sealed the wound with DermaBond. Did not clean it, discuss possible treatments or a care plan.He did not approximate the edges.The wound was not closed any more than when we went in.He left the room.Total time in the room was probably 35 seconds.The nurse came in to discharge us and I informed him that I was not okay with what transpired.He retrieved the doctor.When he entered the room he was clearly agitated with me questioning his treatment. He informed me that he had been doing this for 30 years and DermaBond was the way to go. Unfortunately, the next morning the DermaBond came off resulting in another ER visit.

This doctor accuses people of only going for pain meds. He will not perform any tests to see what is causing the issue. He also snapped that the ER is not a McDonald's drive through to get medicine. Avoid him at all costs.

Will never recommend this doctor. Did not listen. I had to repeat the same thing 4 times, and does not have a good bedside manner. Even with a family member there to confirm what they have seen going on, this doctor thought I was just there for pain meds. I have pain meds and nausea meds, but can't keep anything down and my bp was high due to extreme pain...said will be the only time he would treat me for the pain. Stay away from this doctor if you can. He gets irritated easily.
