Dr. Mason is one of the most arrogant and rude doctors I've ever dealt with in my 62 years of age! He performed hernia surgery on me in 2015 and I'm numb in the area to this day! When I asked him about the numbness long after the surgery, he had the stones to blame it on ME because of lower back pain issues! He rudely told me he had done everything right! I had no numbness prior to the surgery in that area! I had another surgeon in 2018 who was going on vacation after my surgery while I was hospitalized and told me that Dr. Mason would be his colleague to handle my care while I was hospitalized. I told him of my experience with Mason and made him discharge me early so I wouldn't have Mason ever touch me again! Don't walk away from this doctor...RUN!

Terrible experience. Dr. Mason performed a surgery and had ZERO idea on how to care for it afterwards. He provided bad advice that resulted in infections and a healing process that took twice as long, if not more. When I went back and asked more questions, he was extremely rude to me and still gave me wrong information that resulted in even more damage. DO NOT go to this doctor.

Dr. Mason was excellent, I am so happy that I chose him to be my surgeon. I am equally happy with the very important people who made the whole process go so smoothly. When working for a government agency an on the job injury can be a big headache. Thanks to Dr. Mason's staff for their help and understanding, Denise and Laura are the best. I was also very pleased with Dr. Mason's choice of hospitals,St. Josephs is a beautiful hospital that is staffed with exceptionally caring and talented people

Dr. Mason did an outstanding job at surgery on my Rectal Prolapse. I could not ask for a better surgeon to handle it. He explained my situation with care, and was very professional before, and after the surgery. I would be more than welcome to refer him to friends, and family.

Dr. Mason is an excellent doctor who I have gone to for years. He very skilled in surgery but does not race to it before trying other avenues. He answer questions fully and best of all he has a caring character. I would not trust my rectal problems to anyone else. Only problem is he is so busy it takes awhile to get an appointment but it is worth the wait.
