I saw Dr. Mernoff in late 2017 for a thoracentesis, and, I really never felt a thing...needles; discomfort; etc. In June 2018, I had the same procedure done, with a different doctor, and, it was awful! I felt as if I were being stuck with shish kabob skewers; I jumped around; and, afterwards, I began coughing out-of-control and didn't stop for ten-or-so minutes! I had this done a third time on Oct. 31, 2018, again with Dr. Mernoff, whom I requested, and, like last year, no pain - PERFECT!
