I have been going to Dr. Michelson for 25 years plus. Very smart, friendly, and very concerned about you! Listen intently to what you are saying. I personally like him a lot as a physician and friend.

I just needed clarity about my eye situation and Dr Michelson provided that in spades. I always understand much better after talking to him.

Annual visit

Extremely professional, offered comprehensive assessment of my vision health with important preventive steps to avoid issues with dry eyes and overuse of contact lenses. During my appointment the doctor was kindly working with several staff members with a new computer system. Dr. Mickelson is a kind person to patients and staff.

Dr. Michelson ran tests on me I didn't know exist. Office is a very intelligent, tightly run ship. I feel safe and in good hands. These are real doctors here. Go here. This is correct patient care. This isva doctor is meritous and his whole office gives me hope and I'm trying to not die right now. Students, this is what your intelligent patients will be expecting of you. If I were to be a doctor, I'd work for free for him just to learn. I'm a brutal reviewer. I have not one negative thing to say. One thing, the signage into the building and parking isn't clear. I would call ahead and ask directions if you haven't been here before. Go here.

worst visit ever

3 years ago I went to see Dr. Michelson via a recommendation from a trusted friend. It was a very good experience. I needed cataract surgery on one eye. He explained the process, gave me the options, and we went with a laser approach. The results are fantastic (I don't need glasses at all for near or far vision in that eye). I'm back again to do my second eye. (I have a strange pattern--I'm only in my 50s, the cataracts progressed very quickly, within a few years from nothing to essentially blind, and the eyes didn't progress at the same time).

My visit with Dr. Michelson was by far the worst I have ever had with a physician! As an earlier reviewer mentioned, they try to pressure patients to schedule multiple unnecessary visits!

This practice is a big disappointment. Dr. David S. Michelson repeatedly recommended a wrong procedure (I realized it after I went for a second opinion). It was only need one office visit, but I was asked for five office visits and the office charged repeatedly for inappropriate diagnostic procedures.
