Spent over $500 on co-pays, vitamins, ultrasound, mental health eval, nutritional visits plus time off work for all of the appointments to find out that I was misinformed and that my insurance policy does not cover gastric bypass surgery.

I received a phone call from one of the staff about a referral that was put in for me. The woman would not let me speak, all she talked about was money, doubted that I had the money, and was extremely snobby and unprofessioanl. I work in customer servce and I would never recommend anyone to come to this office no matter how great the doctor may be. I think the lady needs to reevaluate her choice of working with the public and to not make judgements about someone all off of insurance.

I am nearly 3 months post op. My experience has been excellent. Dr miles staff while very busy were very helpful and professional. Appointments were handled in a timely fashion and everything was explained completely. I would recommend to friends or family.

I had a referral to Dr Miles from Wilmington Health. I was told Dr Miles office would contact me to set up an appointment. During the week of waiting I started to notice some symptoms of band slippage. My wife called the office to explain and set up my referral appt. We were told no appt will be made even for the future with out your prev lap band records and Just go to the ER. We got another referral from Wilm Health for a doctor who's staff has manners and is willing to help.

Dr. Miles was great but in dealing with his office help was a horrible experience. They are so unorganized. I know several people who have been to him and had the same experience. They rarely return calls, I was told they had sent my insurance company all the information needed to have my surgery done, but after waiting weeks it was not sent. My insurance company had to call them while I was there in the office just to get the office to send it right then.
