Dr. Newsome accurately diagnosed my skin condition and is professional and courteous.

This is a wonderful doctor whose fast diagnosis of a serious condition, and the plan for healing he placed me on has my gratitude for life. The nursing staff and office staff are congenial and helpful. Dr. Newsome is one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I highly recommend him for his thoroughness, warmth, knowledge and concern.

Showed up several mins early. This was second visit there. Apparently the receptionist didn’t check sign in clip board. After waiting more than 45 mins, I went to ask her for his card for fax # on it & so I could start to fill paperwork I needed him to complete. She asks if I have an appt …which I said “yes.” She then looks at board after I sit down a 2nd time. Immediately I got called back to exam room. Dr Newsome is very impersonal with a monotone, cold vibe. He questioned some of my prescriptions saying “I don’t like to prescribe those”. I explained to him why I was on antidepressants (my daughter was assaulted very young & had tried suicide 2x.)To which he replied “I've had pts go through worse & not taking these meds.” To which I replied”Don’t you think I wish it was me instead of her!” He also accused me of being 45 minutes late?! Again I explained I was early & his receptionist dropped the ball. I was in tears as I left. The checkout said he wanted to see me again 6 mths. Ha?!

Excellent doctor and excellent practice . It’s small and accessible- you don’t have to go through patient portals and answering services and wait 6 weeks to get in, which is how primary care should be. Dr Newsome is personable and professional and actually spends time face to face instead of breezing in for 15 seconds and ordering a bunch of random, expensive and unnecessary procedures / tests in the name of “health care”. His practice is a refreshing return to how doctors used to and should be.

I've been a patient of Dr. Newsome over 2yrs. He has always took the time to listen to my problems, and has addressed each and everyone. I also appreciate how he takes the time and call with the results of tests. If you are looking for a caring doctor look no further.
