Dr. David Ondrula, MD

What a wonderful doctor! He handled my very complicated surgery (and simpler follow-up surgery) with such skill and kindness. I am beyond grateful to him and his staff. A+ for communication and being able to explain everything, as well as for his high degree of technical skill.

I went to Dr. Ondrlula for a 2nd opinion. Dr Ondrula performed rubber band ligation and everything went great !! I was so pleased and elated !! The first Dr I saw performed the same procedure which did not work at all, and then wanted to perform surgery. Dr Ondrula saved me a lot of anxiety and stress from having to go through surgery. He has great bedside manner and was very caring with me as a patient.

Dr. Ondrula laid out the scenarios in a realistic and understandable manner, and due to his skill and expertise, I got the best possible outcome, namely no more treatment needed after the surgery. I haven’t dealt with many surgeons in the past, but I couldn’t help but think that if I were a surgeon, I would pattern my approach in dealing with patients in the same manner as Dr. Ondrula did with me. He was friendly, thorough, empathetic, and genuinely happy for me when things worked out for the best. Of course, I believe things worked out for me due to the abilities and confidence Dr. Ondrula demonstrated so clearly.

Dr. Ondrula was more informative and helpful than my actual GI doctor. In a matter of my first appointment with him to discuss surgery, he had orchestrated my radiation and chemotherapy (pre-surgery) schedules with the doctors so that treatment could be expedited. He has a wonderful bedside manner - which you never see anymore - and truly seems to care about his patients. Post surgery, he was wonderful in follow up appointments as well - I would SURELY recommend him to anyone !

Dr. Ondrula has a fantastic bedside manner. I had a first colonoscopy and he was happy to answer all questions and completely put me at ease both in office and before the procedure. I highly recommend him and his office.

I entered the ER last week with excruciating pain and could barely walk. I was there for 36 hours and was examined by Dr Ondrula late on day 2. He immediately determined I needed surgery ASAP and took charge of my case - something I really appreciated. He literally drew a picture of my situation, described what he wanted to do, and answered my questions. As a health care professional- I am a Chiropractor- I really respected his bedside manner and expertise . He was a pro's pro .

I was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer in July of 2017, my wife, a nurse, started research to find the best surgeon in our area and selected Dr. Ondrula, hands down, by the ratings online and word of mouth. After meeting Dr. Ondrula for the pre-op consult I was a fan immediately. He is probably one of the most positive doctors I've ever met. I had my surgery on August 18th and as I am writing this I have been recuperating for a little over a week, I feel great and will go back to work soon.

I suffered for along time before I was referred to Dr. Ondrula. He has a great manner with patients and makes you feel comfortable. He gave me the relief I needed after years (decades) of suffering.

Dr Ondrula is a rock star at what he does. I have seen him a handful of times for a couple different issues. For both issues he told me what was going to happen....and what happened is exactly what he said would happen! I had lapriscopic colon surgery 4 weeks ago 3/17/17 performed by Dr Ondrula....went exactly as he said it would. I was out of hospital and functioning w/in 4 days. I am at my 4 week follow up today and I am functioning at 100% pre op levels w/zero issues!! 100stars!!
