My son was seen by Dr. Parsons in the er for a clavicle break and he was fantastic, thorough, compassionate and understanding. I was recently seen for lower abdominal pain that had been getting worse and has been present for over 8 days. He was again, thorough and compassionate. Completed a thorough evaluation & offered many recommendations. I am unsure why he has so many poor reviews. I would recommend him and would prefer to have him as my attending if I ever needed emergency care again.

DR. DAVID L. PARSONS treated me like a lieing sack of meat he wanted out of his room. He came in with the attitude that he would not help me, which was obvious is his posturing and voice. Verbatim he said "You are either a liar or over reacting either way i believe you are seeking pain meds and i am discharging you" for the reasons that "In my 10 years of being a doctor i have never heard someone scream like you unless they were pregnant!" what doctor doesn't understand that pain is relative or compares cases? This is psychologically damaging. I dont believe he checked my chart at all for the previous 2 days that i had to return because of worsening or non chaging sypmtons, WHICH PRINT OUTS GIVEN TO ME SAID THAT I DO, where it is stated that i have anxiety and ptsd both of which do exasperate my symptoms. I have nevet felt so much raw physical pain and then been HUMILIATED by a professional.

Made us feel stupid for seeking emergency care. He said something to the rest of the staff at the main desk and they all laughed when he walked out of our room. I have zero confidence in him and would never seek care at the ED in Tawas again.

Dr. Parsons is the worst doctor ever. I even asked him where he went to school and where he placed in his class. My daughter was having a panic attack with nausea, confusion, difficulty breathing, chest discomfort, inability to ambulatory. He came in before vital signs were completed, spent less than 3 minutes in the room and told us to go home and sleep it off. The extent of an examination included listening to the heart for 15 seconds, listening to lungs for a few seconds, pushing on abdomen for 1 second. Symptoms are also symptoms of heart problems in women. He didn't order any tests. The nurse requested something be given for nausea and that was given. I will be reporting him! This was at the ER in Tawas. In addition to all the above, he didn't even wear his mask properly! It was tied at the top and just hanging down. Shame on the hospital for employing this fake doctor!

Go in before during an anxiety stage, come back 1.5 years later and doesn’t examine and just marks anxiety. Said he know nothing is wrong with me.

Exactly what the other reviews said. When I went to Tawas ER I was treated like I had no business being there. This doctor has absolutely no compassion and shouldn't be working with animals let alone people. His bedside manner is terrible and he acts like he has a constant chip on his shoulder. Tawas st. Joseph must have been very desperate when they hired him.

I took my daughter to ER and he treated us like we had no business being there. He completely misdiagnosed her and sent us away. When we returned a few hours later he ordered tests without even speaking to her. His bedside manner is terrible!! I would never have myself or any family member be seen if he were the Dr!!

RUDE...DOES NOT EVEN EXAMINE PATIENT JUST SAYS WHAT HE THINKS IS WRONG ... Had two of my kids in the e.r to and he was there doctor both times he said there was nothing wrong at it had to run its coarse and after going to see our family doctor both were found to actually be seriously ill and had to be but on a lot of meds and breathing treatments and much more not enough room to explain. I will and would recommend to turn around and walk out and go somewhere else if he is on shift working...
