My 6 yo daughter saw Dr. Pickett - he was kind and compassionate every step of the way. I highly recommend him for children.

I was to get a tooth extracted at this clinic and when I walked in some staff and half of the patients in the waiting room did not have masks on or in their possession despite notifications on the door. Being nervous about the procedure, I asked the receptionist if she could turn off the news, change the station, or turn off the volume so I did not have hear it while waiting. She stated "no, but you can sit further away from it so it is harder to hear." Given the current issues, the last thing I wanted to hear before a surgical procedure are the ramblings of a (any) 24 hour news station. When I stated that I could not continue with the visit because of the above. They said ok. They never reached out at a later time to follow up on why I cancelled my appt. But they did take the time to send a cancellation bill within 24 business hours. Their lack of concern for others, including their patients, is clear and I strongly recommend finding another provider for your care.

Would rate negative if I could. Dr. Pickett seemed fine the ONE AND ONLY time I took my son to him for wisdom teeth extraction. It was a mistake. His office staff and billing dept are the literal WORST. Rude and uncooperative, even talking about me behind my back on a conference call when they did not know I was listening in. Most unprofessional I've ever dealt with, so I urge you to take your healthcare elsewhere. If Dr. Pickett continues to make money despite his unprofessional employees and business practices, the situation is unlikely to ever improve. Sometimes greed is the only significant motivational factor for change.

Avoid at all costs. I could write for an hour about how horrible these people are, and how rude and uncooperative the billing department is, but you've heard/read it all before in a million different reviews. This place is as awful or worst than all the rest. In this day and age, with a pandemic still going strong, and the sorry state of the American healthcare system, there is no reason to be greedy jerks and just downright nasty about working with someone in order to pay off an outrageously expensive bill. With regard to my hard-earned dollars, my family's well being always comes first, and that will never change. Dr. Pickett seems fine. Didn't spend more than 10 minutes with him, but there are better dentists/oral surgeons out there with employees that don't try to make your life a living hell. TLDR; Save yourself a lot of hassle, frustration, and unnecessary rage. Don't go here. Period.

Emergency extractions. I was treated well by all the staff. They didn't treat me like the problem last minute patient I was. Dr. Pickett was kind, gentle, communicative n competent with a great sense of humor. I even got to chose what music to listen to. Post operation instructions were good and an emergency number was given to me. A horrible situation was almost pleasant.

July 6, 2018 Abcessed 3rd Molar required emergency extraction. Was in severe pain and had swelling of face, along maxillary bone and upper neck with extreme pain with swallowing and unable to chew food. Dr. Pickett and his entire staff (dental assistants and front desk) were extremely competent, knowledgeable, efficient and were constantly asking if I was doing OK or needed anything. Have never been treated by a better oral surgeon or staff.

I have had lots of dental work over my life with many dentists and surgeons in the cities I have lived in. I found Dr. Pickett to be thoughtful, caring, highly skilled and my 4 implants went off without a hitch.

This doctor is negligent and terrible at his job. I scheduled a routine wisdom teeth removal surgery and after it was completed half of my tounge was numb and prone to painful spasms. He did nothing to help amend this problem, insisting that he hadn't done anything wrong, that it was irregular, and insinuated that I had made it up. Do not trust this man with a scalpel near your face unless you want to end up worse off than when you came in.
