Great care
I was shocked to see negative reviews. My experience with Dr P and his staff has all been great. After having bad care from my son’s previous allergy doctor, Dr Provencher has turned it all around and gotten my son on track with his allergies. When I was first learning of my sons extensive list of allergies, including life threatening peanut allergy, his nurse sat with me one on one to go over diet as well as skin care regimen to treat my son’s severe eczema. My son has come a very long way and had passed some of his allergies, but you do have to strictly follow Dr Provencher’s instructions to have improvement. He sets very clear expectations. I was very impressed that he ask us to bring in all medications including over the counter at every visit for him to review. He is a great allergy doctor and his staff is also helpful. If I had to list an opportunity for improvement, I would say the building itself could use some updates, but that is not as important as my son getting good care.

I will never ever set foot in this office again. Not only is it small and dingy, the appointments are rushed. He interrupts you, does not make eye contact, and has 0 compassion. I went to see him twice, and both times had a bad experience. The second time I saw him, he completely changed what he told me the first time and when I brought it up, he shrugged it off and interrupted. What a ridiculous and unhelpful waste of money. They take your credit card when you check in, and return it only when you are done with the exam. I'll be checking my statement, But the icing on the cake was my second and final visit, when, with minimal eye contact, and a cold tone, with the door open, he told me to see a psychologist, because "in his opinion" that I might have a disorder related to my skin issues. Readers, I saw him twice. Both times less than 10 minutes. Further more, I could hear the front office staff saying my personal information over the phone to request my blood work WHILE in exam room.

Dr. Provencher is very rude and does listen to what you are trying to explain to him. He cut me off several times during our (very) brief appointment, and made me feel ignorant and belittled. The staff was very friendly, a coping mechanism, I'm sure to compensate for his lack of compassion and empathy. Not only was he disrespectful, he was not helpful either. My condition has only worsened since I began treatment with him. I would NOT recommened him to anyone.

Dr. Provencher scared me with important facts about my son condition. He was not friendly. However, I enjoyed him being direct with me. It shed light on the seriousness of the problem. Dr.Provencher did an excellent job finding the problem and having a soloution for my son. I am thankful God used him to help my son be a productive energetic little boy.Glory be to God!!!!!
