Dr Rempe has the unique ability to explain very complicated situations in a way even a guy like me can understand. It was very apparent when we first met that he is really, really smart. But he explained things to me that made me very comfortable. He also returns phones calls the same day!!!!

I was in my 20’s when I had a stroke. I couldn’t speak well, I could understand. He assumed I was a drug addict first and when labs came back negative, he said he never met me before and asked if I was retarded. My friends kept saying no, my sister who is an ED nurse elsewhere kept calling asking to treat my symptoms not my age. I was admitted for observation later that’s evening and Images taken revealed stroke. One of the residents apologized, he remained arrogant and brash. Worse experience

Dr. Rempe was very courteous and knowledgeable, and spent a lot of time listening to my concerns and answering questions about my stroke. I felt very comfortable and never once felt rushed. Also, his staff was friendly and helpful. I'm so glad that my primary doctor recommended him to me!

Post stroke patient with central pain syndrome. This guy kept throwing neuro meds that didn't work (anti-convulsant, anti-seiziure, and anti-depressant medications) at it until I just left him alone and went elsewhere. These kinds of drugs MAY help with central pain syndrome. The first choice are traditional pain medication which he refuses to give. I was in hell for 3 weeks with pain.
