Highly recommend
I suffered for 18 years with pain from previous trauma with little improvement after several med visits and PT. Dr. Robins, Matthew, and Crystal asked the right questions, listened with compassion and recommended a course of treatment that improved my quality of life within a short period. Although this is a chronic condition, I’ve been given the tools and support I need to manage my own health more successfully. I highly recommend Smoky Mountain Orthopedics.

I was experiencing shoulder pain after an auto accident. Dr. Robins explained what he felt was the cause and recommended a steroid injection. It seems to have been the solution.

Wouldn’t listen . Dismissed my issues due to my age . Never examined me . Told me he couldn’t really see my vertebrae on my X-ray. Gave me medicine I expressed concern about and when I mentioned that steroids can weaken bones he said that he wouldn’t give me medicine that would cause that even though that’s a common side effect . Spent maybe 5 minutes with me after a two hour wait .

Well, I never saw Dr. Robins. My appt was at 8:30, and he hadn't made it to the office by the time I walked out at 9:45. If he was doing surgery this morning, it is simple, don't schedule appt at the same time. My time is valuable. I wasted my sick time for work and paid a $45 co-pay for NOTHING. I'm disappointed that this is what I got for trying a local orthopedic. So, now, yes, I will schedule an appt with a reputable ortho in Chattanooga.
