Cash grabber
He spent all of 3 minutes to examine and dismiss me. Would had been great to find out what was going on with my back and what the next step was but he didn’t have time for all of that and sent me to the receptionist to print a referral and another appointment. Maybe a good surgeon but people skills and empathy for patients is very much lacking.

Being ignored, dismissed and made to feel like I was being dishonest. It was clear he was only interested in getting my wc claim closed.

Outstanding Spine Surgeon
I was dealing with chronic pain in my legs and hips due to what we thought was a herniated disc. I had surgery and Dr. Swartz dealt with an unexpected spinal cyst, removing it and doing a laminectomy. My recovery was so much easier than I ever imagined and my pain was gone from the first time I stood up after surgery. Spine surgery shouldn't just be trusted to anyone. Dr. Schwartz is outstanding and gave me back my quality of life.

To my rescue...
Dr Schwartz saw me for an urgent issue. He listened to my concerns, asked questions, and was thorough in his consideration and opinion on an appropriate course of action. He went on to coordinate staff and resources to perform an emergency surgery. No one during the entire experience made me feel like an inconvenience or imposition. I was more than comforted and given exemplary care throughout the prep, procedure, and post op processes. I am so grateful for everyone who was so kind in caring for me.

Dr. Schwartz saved my 15 year old sons life. My son suffered from Sherman’s Kyphosis and his back was unbelievable curved over crushing his heart and lungs. He was patient, caring, and confident. He made sure he took the time necessary to explain the procedure and answer all our questions. After the surgery my son’s back was perfect. He was no longer in pain and had a positive heathy future to look forward to. I will always be grateful to him. If you need back surgery Dr. Schwartz is the BEST choice.

After expediting 7 months of pain due to a herniated disc at L5 S1 and trying physical therapy and nerve root injections with no relief, Dr Schwartz performed a micro lumbar discectomy on my back. I’m about 10 weeks out from surgery, in no pain, and have resumed my normal physical activities.

I have lived with back pain most of my life . Several surgeons recommended that I should not have surgery - only as a last resort . Well that time came - Dr . Schwartz did a back fusion surgery in November and I have had no back discomfort since my surgery . It feels amazing to be able to walk distances and stand without back pain ! I am able to do so much now and participate in family activities . I would highly recommend Doctor Schwartz and have already .

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Schwartz. His staff was on point, he was caring, compassionate, and i never felt rushed when discussing my surgery with him. He took the time to answer all of my questions, and to explain everything. His staff was quick to respond to questions, and was generally a very friendly and caring environment. As difficult as my surgery was, I never once worried. I knew I was I good hands from the moment i walked in.

Dr Schwartz was extremely professional in treating me. Our first appointment Dr. Schwartz realized I needed to see a specialist for another issue before he could help. Dr. Schwartz and his staff worked immediately to get me into the proper specialist that day. Since, I have followed up with Dr. Schwartz, his care has improved my health.

Dr Schwartz looked at the MRI and x-rays. He immediately explained the problem with my back and what was needed to correct it. Four disc fused, and 2 rods. I am happy I made the decision to get a second opinion and see Dr Schwartz. It is three months since surgery and I am very happy with the results, walking on my own, no pain medication.

I went to Dr. Schwartz on the recommendation of Dr. Greg Reveal. My back was messed up, couldn't walk upright and tons of pain in legs and lower back. My first appt with Dr. Schwartz went very well, surgery was my option, so we scheduled that. The surgery was successful, pain was gone almost immediately, could walk upright first thing out of bed after the surgery. Only pain was from the actual surgery which went away fairly quickly. Great job, very pleased.

Dr. Schwartz was amazing with our daughter. We had been to another doctor that did not listen and was very dismissive. Dr. Schwartz listened, continued to track our daughter's scoliosis progression, and then recommended surgery when the it became essential. The surgery was easy to schedule, and we had very open communication from his office the whole time. He did a tremendous job with her spine, the incision and post-op care. I would VERY highly recommend Dr. Schwartz!

Happy with surgical outcome, but it took too long for my surgery to be scheduled/ decided. We attempted non surgical plans first, but it took too long inbeteeen the revaluations which led to 4 more long months of suffering. This led to prolonged weakness and recovery time. I would have rated him higher in the communication area had he spoke to me in the office at my post-op appointment. He did not, he just had his NP talk to me. His NP is great though and I am sure she gave him a report.
