Year after Year keeps getting better
Year after year I get great treatment and result from Dr. Shapiro. I don't really have a ton of health issues, so the visits are shorter. He has given me several referrals for other minor ailments and his staff were always pleasant and responsive.

My Dad and I have been going to him for over 20 years in Melbourne. He is so caring and excellent at what he does. He gives us time to ask anything. Not rushed either.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Shapiro for quite a few years and have recommended him to several friends. He is a very caring man and wonderful, thorough doctor. He will treat you and find the best specialist to handle what he can't.

I love Dr Shapiro's professionalism and how he checks all the notes and makes sure to cover everything needed. However, the staff leaves you on hold for long extended times (20 to 30 minutes) and is not helpful. I was promised supplies were ordered almost a week ago and found out today Jan was too busy to order them so here I sit with no wound care and drain supplies. I'm not a happy camper!

Be very aware. Took time to bring in my mother to sign HIPAA forms. Her and my time are very valuable. So it seems that they have LOST the form that was filled out and not imputed into the system. Now have to redone. Make sure you have them do what they are paid for.

5 Star physician with 1 Star only for many of his front office staff. The very WORST customer /patient service I have ever experienced. There are some really caring women on staff but many women I have dealt with there are condescending and outright aggravated with any questions asked of them.

I loved Dr Shapiro. However, I needed information and help from his staff. They never answer the phone, if they do they quickly say "hold please"and often you are hanging on the phone over 30 minutes or more. Often no one EVER answers the phone. After a couple of months trying to get through, I had to find another Dr. who's staff can answer a phone call. The same thing happened when I tried to make my first appointment with him. It took months of calling. Rude and incompetent staff.

Excellent and thorough Doctor. He was first my mother's doctor (she has since passed. RIP) Now, he is my doctor. I used to go to Health First. Due to my insurance at the time, I ended up with Osler and Dr. Shapiro. I am so glad that happened! He and his staff are great.

I have been seeing Dr. Shapiro since 1997. He saved my life! Long story short, he made me wait until he had another mammogram scheduled before he let me leave his office ( I had issues, but I didn't like going to drs.) Lumpectomy, Mastectomy of left breast, 3 months of chemo and 5 years of tamoxifen All of this started when I was 36 with no prior issues of breast cancer in my family. If not for him I would have waited until I was at least 40 and probably would NOT be sitting here writing this.

Dr.Shapiro is the most arrogant, stuck up Doctor I have met! He will not let the patient talk. He talks down to you, like your a second class citizen! He thinks he is better then you! I think the 25 years of experience has gone to his head!
