Terrible Doctor
He misdiagnosed my foot pain 4 times. My X-rays were normal except for some arthritis. He gave me cortisone injections. Then he said I had a fracture though it wasn’t on the X-ray. He told me to wear a boot for 3 weeks. I was still in pain. He ordered a bone scan which was normal. When I confronted him about his fracture misdiagnosis, he brushed it off. He just kept giving me cortisone injections. Finally, he thought I had Neuropathy! He did Punch Biopsies on both my ankles and said I had Neuropathy only on my right side. He prescribed a high dose of Gabapentin. Since then, I’ve had two Neurologists test me and I was negative for Neuropathy. I NEVER HAD NEUROPATHY! He’s not qualified to test, diagnose, and treat Neuropathy. He was grasping at straws. In retrospect, I wonder if he lied to me to save face. I spent over $300 + the cost of tests, went through unnecessary pain, and he didn’t help me at all. I didn’t get a second opinion because I thought he was good and I trusted him.

Dr. Sotelo will leave you waiting for an unacceptable amount of time EVERY time. Not to mention his staff are very rude. I'll be finding a different dr.
