Terrible Follow Up and Office
Dr Suh never returns phone calls and neither does his office - no matter what the issue is. My husband almost died under his care because he prescribed a drug that was needed a lot of follow up with no subsequent testing to see how it was affecting his other organs. I asked for him to review meds prescribed in hospital to see if he agreed and he could not bother to call back so ended up in ER. He is good when you see him in office but after you leave he does not care.

Good cardiologist
I was 5 minutes late due to delays on Rt. 78 and got put at the bottom of the list of patients. Had to wait for over an hour to be taken back to exam room.

My husband and I saw Dr. Suh last week for a first-time visit, and he was exceptionally caring and thorough. He took plenty of time to describe details and answer questions about medications and treatments without pushing unnecessary tests. His knowledge and humility (yes, the two can coexist) were apparent and put us at ease right away. It was one of the most positive experiences we've ever had with a doctor. Given the subject matter (my husband's heart), that was remarkable. Many thanks to Dr. Suh and his warm staff!

I have been seeing Dr Suh for over 5 years and he is so helpful every time. He is the only cardiologist I will ever trust! He goes towards your diagnosis before trying any medication. He is very knowledgeable, listens to any concerns you have, very sympathetic and truly takes his time with you. I never feel rushed to get in and out. I have been to many of the office locations and every location’s staff is just wonderful!

Dr. Suh took all the time I needed for my visit. He explained everything in detail, and answered all my questions. His approach to my care is thorough, and evidence based. I am very confident that I am receiving the best care. The Tucker office staff has been fantastic as well.

Dr Suh is an exceptional doctor. His knowledge and communication skills are phenomenal. He is compassionate and caring. At 59 I was diagnosed with an aneurysm and cancer (same week) and he guided me through the process and recommended the best surgeon. Dr Suh is simply the best.

I have 'white coat syndrome' (really afraid of anything medical); and almost did not go to the doctor for my heart condition. This man adapted to my situation better than the others I tired; upbeat; friendly; spends more time and explains more stuff; I cannot ask for anything better. Thank you Doc! Originally I had planned to retire away from Atlanta, but now, I do not want to try another heart doctor, so I am staying put.

Dr. David Suh is a fantastic cardiologist!! Not only is he quite skilled, he is the most caring doctor anyone could have! He was wonderful with my 90 year old Mother and, now, my husband and I are his patients. We've had other cardiologists and, while a few were very good, Dr. Suh surpasses all of them!

I love Dr. Suh. He takes care of my entire family. I have a lot of trust in him, and for me that doesn't come easy. I do a lot of research and found him to answer all of my questions without belittling me or asking "were did you get your medical degree?"(yes, I have had this happen before from an indignant physician). Dr. Suh is not intimidated by people with intelligence. That being said, some of the staff needs replacing with caring individuals, not people who only care about a paycheck

Dr. Suh is very attentive in regard to patient concerns and is willing to negotiate a care strategy that is attainable and productive. This is priceless, certainly the reason why I left other clinicians.

The staff nurse, Ava, is rude and incapable of doing her job in a timely manner. I called at 9 a.m to have a prescription called in and 4.5 hours later she still had not called it in. When I called back she was out to lunch and there were no notes as to whether she had made the call or not. When I called a third time she acted like I was putting her out, asked me for the pharmacy number again, and then hung up. Will it get called in or will I have to prompt her to do her job again? Don't go here

I was very apprehensive about my visit to Atlanta Heart Specialists. Their entire staff, including the Nurse Practitioner, was very helpful, caring, and very attentive. Dr. Suh far exceeded my expectations. He explained everything in terms that I could understand, he was compassionate, thorough, and honest. He spent as much time with me as needed and addressed all of my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Suh to my family, friends, and colleagues.

Dr Suh is very personable, engaging, is sharp and thorough. Decisive when action is needed, and encouraging regarding healthy living habits. Highly recommend him. He caught a life-threatening condition I had which was then handled successfully on a preventative basis.
