Horrible staff
Last week, my wife was in extreme pain. I called at 2pm. By close of business, no one had called back, so I had to spend $100 that we can't afford and take her to the ER. T least they tested her and gave her meds. We've called several times this week regarding her care and need for refills, and the switchboard says "the message was sent" They didn't transfer or take another message, didn't send us to the office manager. Nothing. HE is good. His STAFF SUCKS. She's going to have to go BACK to the ER, and I'm going to spend ANOTHER $100 that we can't afford. NOT worth the time o money

Dr. Sussman and his staff need to do better. I'm extremely frustrated with Dr. Sussman and his office. Front desk staff are rude and not helpful. They make you wait for hours and never tell you they are hours behind. In early October 10/4 we picked up 3 medicines. Ativan. Cipro, Bactrim Not all the directions in the bottles were clear so I called the office in Sewell. (1) Person said they could not help me but would give the message to a manager and have them call me. No call was ever returned. (2) I called again a couple days later. Explained the meds again. Someone says let me find out why Dr. Sussman called in Bactrim and I'll get back to you. No one ever returned my call . I physically took the medicines with me and put them on the table for Dr. Sussman to look at. He never check the file and told me to give my husband the wrong medicine. I didn't learn that my husband took the wrong medicine until after the procedure. I went to the office and I was turned away.

Love dr. Sussman, however staff is totally ignorant. You call and never can get anyone on the phone. They call back 4 hours later. Sheilas response we only have 20 people in our all center. Yet know one answers. They change your day to what’s convenient for them. The girls at the front desk get up and walk away when you are right in the middle of asking them something. If I wanted to see Dr Sussman today I was told I will have to wait until he has some free time and other patience with appointments were first. He was already behind an hour. .i am gonna seek an office Where you can speak to someone. Walked out and will not return.

Personally Dr. Sussman is a nice man. His staff however, not so nice. My father is a patient and we have been calling the office for three days regarding a serious issue, were on hold for 45 minutes at a time only to get the voicemail system, we left detailed messages stressing the importance of a call back. And nothing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sussman for almost 10 years, and my wife has been his patient for over 25 years. Dr. Sussman is what other doctors strive to become. Professional, courteous, listens to your questions and ailments, then fully explains treatment options and reasons WHY some treatments or drugs are not the best idea in your instance. I just wish that all of my doctors had the qualities that Dr. Sussman has.

Despite multiple attempts to get test results,Dr. Sussman has not been responsive. Assistants have relayed the messages and the urgency thereof, but still no response. Patient's representative has followed all procedures and followed up as agreed prior to tests being scheduled and performed.
