Red Flags
I will simply be echoing the common experience with Dr. Tanner. Not trauma informed- none of his staff is. Poor interpersonal skills, no empathy, and grossly condescending. He seems uninterested in listening to his patients and getting to the root cause of pain, this is unprofessional.

Doctor Tanner is the first doctor who actually listened to me and made me feel understood. He helped me find the "whys" behind my pain and address them at the source with a therapy plan of my very own. Helped me more than words can describe.

I really don’t enjoy giving negative reviews, but I think that it is sometimes beneficial to share how things go badly, to prevent it from happening to another person. I had told Dr. tanner about my complex PTSD issues, and about my overall sensitivity. He told me that he would be placing an anesthetic in my nose, but he didn’t explain how it would go far past comfort in the body. I started crying and shaking on his table, but we didn’t stop. It took me a long while to stop shaking, and leave.

This Doctor is not in the business of listening to patients. He pushes his own agenda and will not take NO for an answer. I am so thankful that after he fired his smarter and better half that I was able to find him and get better treatment. Dr. Reish was what held this practice in place. I am an RN with lots of experience with Doctors. Dr. Tanner had a very large ego that got in the way of treating patients. I would recommend Dr. Reish to all that are suffering. He can be reached at 303-225-6625
