Kind and patient, through
Dr. Tietze was patient and kind. His evaluation was through. He was honest and laid down my options so I understood what they were. I didn't like them but that wasn't his doing. I appreciated his honesty and kindness in answering my many questions. I recommend him.

Left In Waiting Room
I was left in the patient waiting room for almost 2 hours. I decided to leave and his staff immediately went to get him. Very disrespectful or my time and clearly was not prepared to discuss follow up visit. Complete waste of time

Horrible experience. Was given a steroid injection before a physical exam was conducted or X-ray. He misdiagnosed the problem and needlessly gave me an injection in my SI joint. He ordered an X-ray and MRI AFTER the fact which supported the misdiagnosis. He then prescribed more steroids...go elsewhere.

I had a great course of treatment with Dr. Tietze. Great bedside manner. He did not recommend surgery but rather a disciplined PT program and medications. I have already recommended him to others. And, I will continue to do so. Also, the overall experience at UTSW was great. Never waited more than 8 minutes and most waits were less than 2 minutes. Pretty awesome when seeing a specialist.

Dr.Tietze is patient and kind. He is a quality physician and is very knowledgeable. I like the way he is able to communicate about all procedures in a language I can understand. I have a great deal of trust in him as both my internist and sports medicine doctor. I never have had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him on an appointment.
