Professional, Personal and Patient Hospitalist
Dr. Tomich was the Hospitalist at AZ Speciality Hospital where I had spinal surgery performed. Iound him to be professional, personable and patient and was very comfortable with him coordinating the care for my short hospital stay after back surgery.

Dr. Tomich oversaw my care following knee replacement surgery at Arizona Specialty Hospital. During the two days I spent in the hospital Dr. Tomich and the entire staff couldn't have given me better care. He listened to my concerns and did everything possible to speed my recovery. Thanks so much!

Dr. Tomich treated me following two total knee replacements about two months apart. I was impressed by his caring demeanor. He visited me several times during my stay the recovery center. On each occasion he asked questions to determine my progress in recovery, listened carefully and responded compassionately. He made me feel that I was important contributor to the recovery process. He treated me as a unique individual not just a number. Following my first procedure he was responsible for coming up with a solution to a urination problem. I really appreciated his expertise and skill.

Discharged me before my pain was at the expected 4-5 (that is where I was told it needed to be at before I left) and I was at an 8 with my post operative pain spiking at 10. Also discharged me before I had a bowel movement. Nurse came in and took out my drains and sent me on my way. I was let down. Now I am 13 days post op and was told by my NP at my appt yesterday that I was and still am severely under medicated and not at all where I needed to be in the recovery process. Dr Tomich needs to be more in tune with his patients and actually listen to what they say.

I was admitted to the ER at Chandler Regional Hospital with a fractured femur on a Saturday night. Dr . Tomich was very kind and professional. He helped me through the painful x-ray process, made sure I was comfortable, handled the admission process, and contacted an excellent orthopedic surgeon to perform the surgery the next morning. He checked on my progress repeatedly during my hospital stay. I will always be grateful for his concern and professionalism .

Dr. Tomich took care of my mother in law when she was admitted into the hospital after breaking her leg. He was so personable and made sure that she received the absolute best care possible. He took his time with her and us, her worried family, to make sure that every question we had was answered, and every concern was addressed. He made a very scary situation not so scary.
