Would not recommend Dr. Tunick under any circumstances if you get a choice in your anesthesia provider. Unfortunately most do not. I have had terrible lingering side effects from anesthesia following a surgery that was several weeks ago. The morning of my surgery his assistant, Kayla tried very hard to convince me to use sedation and a spinal for a large surgery that I had already underwent once. I clearly explained multiple times that I wanted the same anesthesia process that I had last time then signed a paper stating I would get similarly care. Moments later Dr.Tunick walked into my room and stated they would be starting a spinal shortly. Except I wasn’t getting a spinal. After complaining about the error he said he came into the wrong patients room. Not reassuring to hear when your about to be put under for several hours by someone who didn’t appear to be paying attention. I do NOT recommend this provider.

I cannot recommend Dr. Tunick at this time for any surgeries. I had a horrific experience with him and his nurse anesthetist.
