I saw Dr. Weir for a lung condition that I have. I appreciated that he did say (of course) that I should stop smoking but he didn’t browbeat me about it which I appreciate very much. He seems very knowledgeable and kind. I’m glad I went to him.

Worth the Wait
I had to wait a while for my initial appointment but it was worth the wait. I felt like I was in very capable hands from the moment I entered the office. Dr. Weir was very thorough and kind and wanted to get to the root of my problem. His staff was efficient and patient. I appreciate the time he took with me and would recommend him without reservation.

Careless with my lungs but not my pulmonologist
Despite being athletic and generally healthy, I have managed to end up getting lung problems that have led to me being admitted to WCM in lower Manhattan not once but twice. So while I am not sure how I have bee so careless with my breathing, I think my repeat experiences make me well placed to comment on Dr Weir and the hospital. And it is simple, if you are in need of great attentive care and fabulously meticulous followup as you recover go to WCM and get yourself to Dr. Weir. I work at another medical facility but thank heavens for that hospital and for Dr. Weir. And if I am ever on for a third pulmonological event, that is where you will find me.

Dr Weir is a top notch doctor, highly professional and knowledgable! He goes into all the details of the diagnosis, explains everything, answers all the questions, I am greatly impressed and plan on staying as his patient for a long time! I liked his tone and manner, the way he does not rush you, he listened to all my fears and concerns, explained everything in a great detail.
