Great bedside
He was my urologist at NCH who was able to assist me with the Kidney Stone that was trapped in my kidney. He took his time to explain the procedure and why it was necessary to perform this procedure. He checks in on me before the surgery.

As enjoyable as can be expected
Both before and after a surgical procedure, and in the follow up office visit, Dr. W. was great. We had not interacted prior to the procedure, but I felt that he understood my case and demonstrated a very relaxing style. I would definitely recommend Dr. W. to friends and family.

Had a stent placed while in the hospital was told to follow up in his office. Went to appointment where they told me that I would be having surgery in two days and that someone would call with information the next day. I was never called and when I called the office I was told that nothing had been set up for the next day. The office drops the ball on everything and doesn’t know what they are doing at all. Find a doctor that has staff who knows what they’re doing and can get back to you.

Dr Wilkinson is very good, but the office staff is vastly unqualified. They do not seem to understand the most simple things about customer relations and good operations. One simple example of the staff's quality of work occurred when they sent a text to my land line cancelling an appointment. After an hour's drive for an appointment they said it was my fault for not calling them to tell them of the error. And then they rescheduled the visit with the PA which would have been ok, except that I specifically asked for the doctor for this visit. For that reason and other similar experiences, I cannot recommend using Wilkinson.

Dr. Wilkinson is a seemingly nice person who appears to be interested in his patients. The problem is that he relies upon third party tests and information without verification (which can result in bad decisions and unnecessary procedures), is virtually impossible to reach if he is not about to perform a procedure on you, seems to lose interest once the procedure has been performed (especially if not successful) and had no real office system in place for several Months to communicate with patients. These problems combined to place me in a position of undergoing an unnecessary procedure and then not being able to reach him. Frankly, he totally missed the real source of my urological problem which I ultimately had corrected surgically at the Mayo Clinic. My opinion is that he is too busy to provide individual attention to patients and likes to do certain procedures which may or not be appropriate for the patient.

The practice moved and I was never notified, that’s just not acceptable treatment by a physician. I have called to speak to a nurse had to leave a message and never go a call back. Very bad communications. The guy who’s office manager is useless.

Dr. Wilkinson is a phenomenal doctor. His administrative manager should be fired. I had an appointment today. I never received a phone reminder. When I got to the office, I was greeted with a sign stating they moved to Naples. This isn’t the first time I had issues with staff. Several months ago I called with a question and nobody ever responded. I guess I am looking for a new urologist.
