David A. Woodard was referred for me by my primary physician. When we visited initially he was complete with his explanations of my diagnosis and responded to questions. The procedure he performed went without a hitch and is effectiveness contined

Dr. Woodard has provided my care after Dr. Guiliani's departure from HCA Florida West and I have full confidence that he knows what he is doing. Dr. Woodard is very aware of my three HAs and AAA an monitors accordingly.

Dr Woodard review
He and his device tech refused to believe the symptoms I had for 6 weeks were a result of a faulty lead on my pacemaker - even after acknowledging noise on the lead beginning a day before my symptoms started. Dr Woodard was rude and dismissive and reduced me to tears. When I was able to get appointment with new cardiologist, Amit Shah, Dr Shah listened to me and within five minutes I was symptom free following a change in my pacemaker settings. If you are looking for a doctor who listens and treats his patients with kindness and respect, go elsewhere. Dr Woodard is not the doctor for you.

We discussed my having a cardiac ablation. Dr. Woodard gave me a detailed explanation of what was involved, likehood of success and any side effects. I found him easy to talk to. Very happy with the results of the surgery.

I did not feel like he wanted to explore medical reasons for my heart issues. He just wanted to get to a procedure. Even if this is the right approach, and it could be, I needed to feel like we'd explored options, reasons, causes that could be fixed without a heart surgery.
