Dr. Jenkins is a wonderful and caring person and I truly think she is a great surgeon... however when it comes to being someone who cars for pregnant and laboring women she needs to do better. In 2018 I wanted to have a natural vaginal birth after having a cesarean with my first, through the whole pregnancy she made me believe I was going to have a vaginal birth until I got to 39 weeks when she said I needed to go into labor on my own by 40 weeks exactly because she needed to make her kids soccer tournament. I was young and impressionable and trusted her, and I didn’t end up making her deadline. The last words I remember her saying to me before she cut my second child out of me was well your never gonna have a vaginal delivery now. Who were you to decide that Dawn? You should be happy to know you lit a fire in me and I’m about to have my second natural VBA2C. With that said if you are good at speaking up for yourself she would be a good option.

I have been going to Dr. Jenkins for 12 years. She listens to her patients & really cares about your overall health. My first son was born prematurely at 4 weeks early. She made sure when I was pregnant with my second son that we started do weekly visits earlier & monitoring any early contractions. I also had a tubal & ablation by her as well.

She's a good enough OB with adequate knowledge for uncomplicated pregnancies/health histories. I would give her a medical score of 3/5 but I had to come here to specifically leave a 1/5 review because I sensed a high level of arrogance and patronizing that left me wishing I had choose somewhere else. It is what it is; the pregnancy went completely normal. But I will not be going back to this doctor (or clinic) with my next pregnancy. The experience left me feeling unseen and unimportant.

She is an extremely patient and gentle doctor. She is very personable and I am very thankful that she helped me deliver my baby boy. There were some last-minute challenges with the positioning of the baby but her composure helped me stay calm. I would totally recommend her.

Dr. Jenkins is awesome! She always takes the time to listen, she thoughtfully puts together an action plan that meets my needs. She is proactive, intelligent and was kind to me and my fears about seeing doctors. Thank you!
