When my mother had to have stents put in and we were told to track her weight until our follow up visit and call with any weight gain of more than 5 pounds in a day. We called and they said it's ok just bring your paper with you to follow up which was just a few days later. He told us there was no way she could gain that much in 1 day. He may as well have called us both liars. Shame on you Dr Caven for not believing your patients,

I am a young person with unexplained tachycardia when standing, but no problems with the heart itself. My resting heart rate should be in the 60s/70s, but he took the "average range" heart rate (60-90) and then told me that my resting heart rate of 110-130 is normal. Another doctor suspects POTS, but despite knowing this he acts like I'm crazy/it should be someone else's problem. I'm sick of not being taken seriously b/c of my young age. Do not see him unless you have a problem with your heart.
