Steer clear. Rude, forgetful, terrible doctor.
Dr. Bain is very rude. She brushed off our concerns such as our daughter being born with torticollis and misshapen head. When we finally got her to refer us to cranial technologies, they explained that she should have been referred right away due to the severity. We worked so hard from the start to correct her cranial issues and Dr. Bain made hurtful comments blaming me such as that I “left her on her back all day”. I was giving a bottle one day in office and she cringed and said “I don’t want her to develop an adversity to the bottle”. When my daughter was 9 months old, she had a fever to 103. I left a very polite voicemail at 9:45 pm pm asking for guidance. She called back with a clearly dramatized- you woke me up from a deep sleep voice and said very rudely “it’s up to you whether you want to take her to the ER or not!” And “treat the fever in the way in which you know how!” I hope she gets some help. I never went back.

Awesome integrative pediatrician
We found Dr Bain in 2007 and we were so impressed with her knowledge and bedside manner with our children. She’s integrative and is very respectful of our choices to treat our children with or without certain medications. She knows a natural and holistic treatment for many things and offers info to us to decide. She never ever pressures us to do anything we don’t want to do. Very grateful for her expertise in treating the body and behaviors holistically if that’s what you desire for your child.

Horrible Doctor! She acted irritated that my 2 year old son wanted to look in the cabinets-her specialty is supposedly adhd! Then she was mad because I took my small umbrella stroller into the exam room and slung it across the room. Finally they did the wrong tests on stool samples I had collected for a week. When I told the receptionist I was leaving and wanted the records, she gave me this weird smile like "good for you."

Doctor forgot to vaccinate my son and when we found out about it and contacted her, she was more concerned about covering her tracks than correcting her mistake. She also charged us for vaccines though our insurance covers vaccination.

We switched to Dr Bain and met at the introduction, but never saw on the next visits. Four visits and we saw a different NP each time. She hasn't even met our new son just born.

Before I take my son to see this doctor, I have been doing research on autoimmune problem for about 200+ hours. It was from a book I got some clues and found this only pediatrician that has put herself into addition functioning medicine training and willing to treat children holistically. Here is some bullet points why I recommend her(and 1st time recommend a doctor): - She really took time to ask questions, question you won't expect but necessary as her approach is not to address your sympto

I wanted to leave Dr. Bains office because of how busy she always is. And especially because her nurses she had a few years ago were flat out rude. I recently took my child in for a well check and discovered that there were new people and two great new nurses!! My son ended up having his blood drawn by such a sweet tender hearted nurse. She knows exactly what she is doing and took her time with us. We have been very happy with all the changes in that office!!

Office staff is unorganized and unreliable. They repeatedly lost my children's new patient paperwork. Records are not kept up to date. When I got immunization records from Dr. Bain's office and compared them against my home records, I learned that my child had been double immunized. I spoke with Dr. Bain several times about the incompetency of her staff and she blew it off. I also felt that she would put using natural remedies ahead of the welfare of my child.
