Annual wellness appointment
I saw Dr. Beyer for my annual physical. She is the most caring and proactive doctor I have ever met. She is very focused on preventive care and very supportive about any problem I may bring to her. One of the things I've been most impressed with is her ability to quickly diagnose problems and direct me to the proper specialist if it isn't something she can deal with herself. I've found she has the knowledge and experience to deal with most problems without a specialist. She's been my primary care physician for 25 years and I hope she is for many more.

What doctor visits should be
Dr Beyer is able to practice medicine as it should be done. She takes time to know you beyond the numbers. The time she takes analyzing test results and explaining them makes all the different .

My annual exam. Dr Beyer is great and always takes time to answer all questions. She has been my PCP for many years prior to becoming MDVIP. I feel that she gives me the best care available. Feel lucky to have her as my physician.

Love Dr. Deborah Beyer
Dr. Beyer listens to my every problem and brings clarity for me. In the course of years that she has been my doctor, I have had a few scary, for me, life events and she has always calmly assured me that I would get through them. I have recommended her to many friends and they feel the same way as I do. More recently I had a pulmonary embolism, she came to see me every day in ICU. It may have seemed to her like a small thing to do on her lunch hour, but to me it was assurance that I was in good hands of other doctors and would be all right. I feel lucky to have found sure a caring and wonderful doctor years ago in Dr. Beyer.

As if our healthcare system wasn't broken enough, Dr. Beyer has transitioned to the MDVIP/Concierge model, which includes an approximately $2k annual fee (per person) to be part of her network — and that's before any treatment is administered. In doing so, she inadvertently kicked my family (including my wife and my elderly in-laws) to the curb. While I understand that she is entitled to run her business as she sees fit, I must express my dissatisfaction with the situation. When we sought a referral to another healthcare provider, her staff's rudeness was disheartening. They informed us that no referrals were available. Considering the doctor-patient relationship, I had hoped for more consideration and care during this transition. Unfortunately, this move feels more like a money grab; as a result, my family is left in the lurch.

Does not listen
Dr. Beyer tried to prescribe me medication that you cannot take while pregnant or breastfeeding when I clearly had told her I was not taking any contraceptives and would be trying for pregnancy in the next year. She also did not know the side effects of the medication which was concerning since she was so quick to prescribe it. Whenever I go to her office, I feel rushed and not heard by her.

She's been my primary for nearly 30 years
I've been seeing Dr. Beyer as my primary physician since she first went into practice. She also became my daughter's pediatrician at birth and cared for her until she was 22. We both love Dr. Beyer and feel like she's part of the family. She does a great job listening to and responding to questions and concerns, and she takes my concerns seriously. Like all doctors, she's very busy and has to see a certain number of patients every day, so she may not stick around to make small talk. But I trust her implicitly with my and my daughter's care.

First visit was thorough and I left feeling like I have found a responsive medical team who is interested in my well being. Dr. Beyer looks at the total picture, not just an Illness or condition but also one’s life style/personal history and how all of that comes together. Very satisfied with staff, doctor and location. Highly recommend

Absolutely the worst experience from the front desk to the doctor herself. Dr. Beyer was hateful and condescending. The staff was sloppy and acted put out to even engage with the patient at front desk

I could not recommend Dr. Beyer enough to anyone looking for a thorough, kind, thoughtful and intelligent doctor. She is careful not to over-test and over-treat, which I appreciate. She listens and takes my concerns very seriously. She is very responsive to my messages, and she stood by me during a very scary health experience this year. I have never experienced a long wait at her office. Her nurse can be a bit curt, but her nurse is not who these reviews should be for. Truly can't recommend her enough.

Not good. Nurse was to call back with instructions. After 3 days of suffering symptoms without hearing from office. Finally called back. Per nurse‘s ‘notes’, she left me a message with instructions. I had NO message on my phone. Nurse seemed more interested in covering herself than my having instructions from Dr Beyer. At times, Dr Beyer seems condescending and doesn’t like being questioned. Even told me on one visit, she didn’t have time for ’basic’ questions on my illness. Sorry, can’t recommend her or her staff.

I will never visit again. She ignored my concerns about a previously diagnosed autoimmune disorder, refused to look at test results run by another specialist, and then read my personal text messages aloud and yelled at me in the room. I have never been so devastated as I just wanted help with the symptoms of my disease, and instead, it made me never want to see another doctor ever again. Everything I was concerned about - she blew off, told me "it's probably not a big deal," only to be told later by another doctor that my concerns were extremely valid and needed immediate treatment to prevent lifelong issues and further progression. I would not recommend to anyone and have also had issues where she improperly bills and overcharges for services rendered. I am looking into filing a formal complaint because my experience was so bad.
