VERY cold, quick, and only wants to talk veganism
I came in wanting to talk about two very serious, yet common, health issues. She only wanted to give dietary advice and get me out of there. It felt like she gave zero thought to my individual body, situation and symptoms as a doctor. I paid a lot for just dietary advice - "go vegan and come back later to see if it worked". Never again.

Awful dr
I have been seeing Dr dykema for 13 years for my thyroid. I see her 2 times a year to check bloodwork which is ALWAYS normal. I have on occasion ran out of refills because you know life and busy but I always make an appointment the following week and she sends a refill prescription. Today she treated me like a second class citizen and refused to refill my meds until AFTER she sees me next week. I told her I can't go hypothyroid for a week and she shrugged her shoulders and told me to come in earlier. I cannot fathom how a medical doctor can force her patient to unwillingly go hypothyroid and get ill until I see her next week where I will again need bloodwork done to get my levels back up . She has never once in 13 years voiced any complaint about refilling my rx early and seeing me the week after. I will be finding a new dr.

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Dr Dykema doesn't have any care or concern for her patients, you are just rushed in and out of her office.

This is the first time I have ever stopped seeing a doctor. My doctor retired and Dr. Dykema was an option. Since seeing her, my thyroid is a mess, she has put me on and off pills for a year. My health is worse. I am going to see an endocrinologist after giving up on Dr.. Dykema. You will be constantly spending money to recieve labs results in person even when lab results are normal. She does not read your chart ahead of time even though I see her once a month she asks the same question, "Why are you here?" When I explain she then looks at the chart and says, "Your thyroid is still not functioning right" I was just there you would think she knows me by now. She spends about 5 minutes if that and off she goes. She does not care. Callous, cold doctor. Patients beware she does not treat cuts requiring stitches, remove stitches placed by hospital staff, muscle spasms and/or any other medical conditions outside of diet. If you want to be a vegan she is the doctor to go to.

She is a breath of fresh air. I have been going to Dr. Dykema for a few years now. She takes care of her patients, listens and provides the services I need. Looks at alternatives rather than pumping her patients up with pharmaceuticals. In other words, she wants to keep her patients healthy and allow you body to do its job. Her waiting room is quiet and peaceful. I never have to wait to long either.

I have been a patient for a number of years now. I always felt like I was the only patient there. She listens to you. One time I forgot to ask a question and asked it as she walked out the door. She immediately turned around to hear and answer the question as if I had just walked in. When I have been sick and needed to see a doctor in the past she got me in within the day. So far I have only been doing the well visits for awhile now and her looking at the bloodwork and asking me questions has helped that. I don't understand the complaints I see from some of the reviews. I may have reviewed her a few years back and nothing has changed my mind about how she treats patients.

My experiences w/Dr. Dykema and her staff over the past 2 years have been the best I have experienced. The Dr. always has the time to listen to me and my concerns and she alone makes me feel like I matter and I felt my very best interest was her only priority when I had my appointments with her. Her lobby is peaceful and I am able to unwind and hear myself. Her staff Tiffany has always been pleasant courteous and accommodating to my schedule. Her new receptionist Laura is very kind professional and what more could you ask for very accommodating with my schedule as well.I can not tell enough people how wonderful the care and experience is very time I go.

She is uncaring, inflexible, money hungry and cold hearted. Not comfortable with her at all. Two people I referred to her because of her hormone therapy went once and never returned. She is so rigid in her treatment of everyone. So glad to be done with her.

I found Dr Dykema and staff to be dismissive and unaccommodating. I received a misdiagnosis for a female health issue. The receptionist, Tiffany, lacks customer service skills and is also intimidating and unfriendly. They charge a surcharge for credit or debit cards. I will not be returning.

I have been seeing Dr.Dykema for years and I would not change my Dr.for anything. My office visits are very special don't have to take time off work and staff always work with my schedule to make sure they accommodate with my time. Waiting time is very short on a very pleasant environment.

Dr. Dykema listens to my concerns or issues and is very knowledgeable about how to treat. She prescribes antibiotics when needed but also encourages me to try alternative approaches that lead to long term health, rather than a quick fix. She is the only doctor that has urged me to eliminate certain foods from my diet that have led to my feeling better than I ever have. I have allergies and asthma which are much better since starting to see Dr. Dykema on a regular basis.

I am so glad I found Dr. Dykema! She is the only doctor that has helped me feel better. Had my thyroid removed due to cancer in 2008 and have been dealing with serious anxiety issues ever since. She practices healthy healing with supplements and diet. I feel the best I've felt in 9 years! She really listens to you and gets to the root of the problem. I am extremely happy and grateful I found her. She saved my life and I can finally live again.

Dr Dykema is truly amazing! My 13th year old daughter and I became her patients 1.5 year ago and could not be happier with the results of her treatment! She is an outstanding physician and her holistic, innovative approach to disease prevention, her knowledge, experience and compassion she has for her patients is exceptional. We feel very fortunate to find her and we highly recommend Dr Dykema to anyone!

Dr. Dykema has always figured out what I need, how to get there and have great results. If you want a doctor that's going to just put a band-aid on your problem and write out scripts for drugs, find another doctor. She wants to find the root of the problem and go from there the healthy way, the way your body needs to be taken. I like that she's the only one that sees you once you are called back. In fact, she even calls you back! Little room for error when she does it all. Highly recommend.

I am delighted with Dr Dykema. She is very knowledgeable and kind and not a pill pusher. She takes a determined and holistic approach to find answers to health issues AND she advocates for nutrition (whole food plant based) on the journey to wellness. She is what all doctors should strive to be.

I was running a few min late, so I called in advance to ask if that was OK, which they said was not a problem. I was driving almost an hour each way. After 20 min, I asked why patients were being admitted ahead of me, and I was told because I arrived a few min late, my appointment had been moved an hour later. No one was going to tell me if I hadn't asked. I called to reschedule an after-work appointment but the doctor will only take new patients in the AM, even after this morning's humiliation.
