My mother
Dr. Eappen was my mothers ophthalmologist back in 1999 and she examined my mothers eyes and immediately swnt her for a chest xray. My mom was confused but she went. This led to the diagnosis of Sarcoidosis and the lesions were seen thru the xray. Dr. Eappen saved my mothers life and allowed her to live a semi normal life with this gradually debilitating disease. I am going to write Dr. Eappen a letter to thank her for her expertise although I know she was only doing her job. Thank you so much Dr. Eappen. My mom fonally succumbed to the devastating affects of sarcoidosis this April 25th . I miss her so much but I thank you gor helping to diagnose this disease and assisting in allowing her to have a longer life. You are amazing! Her name was Mattie Johnson. You seen her at harvard Vanguard back in the 90s.Thank you so much.

Excellent people skills. Warm, caring, informative, many years of experience, and highly skilled. This doctor is instantly likable. You will be in good hands with this doctor and won't have to get a second opinion!

Two ophthalmologists had seen me for five years up to 12 years ago, with the over- and -off diagnosis, making me keep doing invasive and lengthy eye tests frequently. Then Dr. Eappen looked into my situation very closely and give me the diagnosis that made sense. She finally pinpointed an eye condition that I have, and put me on a well-check program specifically suitable for my condition. I have been well and I trust her care.
