Professional and kind
Very professional, kind, reassuring. Scar from my lumpectomy says a lot about this surgeon’s skill and desire to preserve the nipple and surrounding area. Being told I have breast cancer is a shock but I feel very fortunate to have had Dr Gumina as my surgeon.

Seems polite
Got to appointment 5 mins late, was taken in back and saw doctor after a half hour. So I went in because I had a cyst on my breast, very painful. She wanted to lance it or aspirate it. She went to inject my breast to numb the site. And it hurt so bad I yelped a few times. She actually told me no to because 'it might upset the other patients ' , like it effen hurt! Idc if the other patients heard. Went back for follow up and got there early, 25 mins later was taken to the back; I left after waiting in back for over a half hour. I refuse to see a doctor who is disrespectful of my time. I will be transferring to a different doctor.

Dr. Gamina was amazing!! She was my champion and so pro-active. Got my surgery scheduled for the next day after my appointment with her. She and her staff went above and beyond. She is very kind and caring too.
