Horrible Doctor-Run away as fast as you can
During a Mohs procedure, she took off an area of my nose that was not cancerous. She did not check my file nor confirm where the area that needed the Mohs was located. She took no responsibility and her staff lies for her, too. She shouldn’t be practicing any longer. There are plenty of 1-star reviews and if I could, I’d give her 0 stars.

Unprofessional Practice-Horrible Experience
There is not enough space here to explain my horrific experience, so I will just say that this office (especially the receptionist) is the most unprofessional, condescending, rude, disrespectful, money hungry, uncaring practice I have ever had the unfortunate experience of going to.

I went to this "doctor" for possible cancer moles on my arm and breast, as well as a subcutaneous white spot on my chin that was like a whitehead or an accumulation of pus or something that wouldn't go away by squeezing or anything. She cut out the moles on my arm and breast and, because she forgot about the chin, when I reminded her staff member, she came back in and very quickly excised the white spot, leaving a big, irregular hole. There were zero aftercare instructions. To this day I have a scarred hole on my chin, thanks so much (NOT) - did she expect me to hire her husband to fix her terrible job? The mole on my arm wasn't completely done, and she had to cut more out. Both the arm and the breast holes were so infected they had yellow pus on them for weeks. The one on my breast is now a raised white spot and the one on my arm needed two stitches to heal it up after the infection. This happened years ago but I see by her reviews nothing has changed. She mentioned numerous times how much she knows and what her positions are. Her staff, whom she supposedly gave instructions to tell me, told me nothing. The only good thing was one of her staff recommended EndZit to take care of a small mole near my lips. That stuff is great and over time gets rid of pimples and small dark spots. But for any kind of surgery, find another doctor. She was terrible.

LONG wait times
Spent over 5 hours there for about 40 minutes of procedures. Waited over 2 hours just to get a few stitches. Totally ridiculous.

This doctor refused to provide me with my own pathology report after I moved away from the office unless I came in. I traveled back to the office and then they made me wait 45 minutes for an appointment I had to make though I had lost my insurance for one piece of paper. The staff was exceptionally rude when I called to request it and when I called to make appointments.

Scheduled a free consult after being recommended by my derm for a chemical peel. Took off from work since they have limited times you can come in for "free". Sat in the waiting room for 40 min until I was brought into a room. I was told that Melissa (who does the consultations) was busy with the doctor and they wouldn't be able to see me. I spoke with the nurse and we quickly went over the chemical peel and I left. Later that week Melissa called and apologized/begged and asked me to come back in to meet with her and the doctor at no cost. Went back this week, and it seemed as if no one knew why I was there. Not the office staff or the nurse who walked me to my room. Even Melissa seemed confused when she first walked in. She took some pics and told me she would come back with Dr Sarnoff. While I waited, I could hear the doctor talking about me to Melissa. She was reviewing my pics and making negative comments about my skin. Didn't even come in. I left in tears. DISGUSTED!

0 stars. I would not recommend this doctor. I acquired a permanent, quite visible facial scar in her office in 2015. Her response to my concern was “scratches happen”. She would not accept any responsibility for her slip of the needle. I have always taken very good care of my skin and now must see the damage she has done for the rest of my days.

The wait was not long and was immediately after I finished the paper work. Waiting room is very comfortable and designed in a Victorian style tastefully. All staff were kind and friendly with smiles. This doctor was amazing. The examine was thorough as she gave her assistants the technical terms for the moles on my body and explained if they would present a problem. She attended to me with a meaningful and truthful bedside manner. I was told from an injury I had below my lip from a fall 2 years ago by anther doctor that It would heal my it self in 6 months, which it did not. Dr Sarnoff suggestions were on point as she proceeded with the complete examination explaining everything. I wish all doctors were this way. I have a phobia about doctors but this one won me over.

Dr. Sarnoff and her staff are efficient, kind and patient. I have "doctor phobia" issues, and they make the visit as stress-free as possible. Dr. Sarnoff explains things in simple terms, and takes time to allay any concerns.

I have been a patient of Dr. Deborah Sarnoff for several years. Although she is very well known and respected in her field, she is the most lovely, warm and down-to-earth person. It is a pleasure to go to her office to see her and her staff, who are also very welcoming and warm. She is an expert at what she does and I never even need to tell her anything because everything she does comes out perfectly!

It is a very scary thing to find out you have skin cancer let me tell you. Dr. Sarnoff was great in getting rid of mine once and for all. I have to say throughout the process of going to her office though, it was the woman named Melissa that really made me feel comforted and safe while making friendly conversation during my MOHS surgery. I am grateful to Cosmetique for my great experience and hope everyone gets treated the same!

Maybe at some time she was a good doctor. She rushes through her exam and talks about herself the whole time. Her ego is out of control and you can wait for an hour while she has some kind of meeting in her office and then sends herPA in instead of her.. She is rude to her staff and the furniture in the Roslyn office is shabby. She is a walking advertisement of too much filler gone wrong.

If I could give her no stars I would. If you see her,and not her assistant, she rushes through your exam and talks about herself and that’s she been on tv or co-authored a book, 90% of the visit. She will schedule meetings in her office promoting herself and then send in the pa because she’s too busy to see you. Last time she never saw me. She’s also a bad advertisement for what you look like when you’ve had too many fillers injected into your face. Never returning. Big ego. Bad doctor.
