This doctor is the personification of fatphobia. She blames everything on weight, insisting that dieting is the answer rather than listening to her patients and addressing their very real health concerns. My hair falling out is NOT a result of weight gain! She practically encourages eating disorders; when I told her I had started making myself throw up after meals, she wasn't like, "That's a bad sign, we need to talk about this," but instead said, "Well, but how often though?" As if to suggest there's an acceptable number of times to purge before it's a real issue. She shouldn't be practicing medicine. It's insulting, narrow-minded, and hopelessly outdated to think that obesity is a cause rather than a symptom.

A glass of wine for dinner is a drug. Sent me for carpel tunnel surgery, waited for 2 months, finally called the surgeon, they neglected to sent me for the preliminary testing. Major back problems, sent met for PT, didn't work, was more interested in my B-12. Finally found a real dr. who did exrays, MRI, had back surgery and feeling alive again!!!

I found Dr. Gould to be very good, especially understanding the amount of patients primary care providers are tasked with seeing these days.

Dr. Gould accused me of faking my symptoms; telling me my traumatic past is why I was having difficulty walking!! She refused to fill my meds from my previous doctor. I went a whole year BEGGING for her to help me. After I emailed the other doctors in the facility asking for help, she finally referred me to a specilaist. That specialist referred me to a movement disorder specialist, whom diagnosed me with Stiff Person Syndrome. She needs a profession that does not involve living creatures.
