Saved my Life
After seeing another'doctor' that was treating me for breast cancer for a year, and being told' you don't need to see me any longer', I made an appointment with Dr. Hutchins. Aggregate more xrays , I found I still had breast cancer. Dr Hutchins scheduled mastectomy. She is wonderful. I completely trust her.

Highly Skilled, Wonderful Surgeon
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I am new to VA and did a lot of research and talked with several individuals/clinicians. Dr. Hutchins consistently placed in top 5. I had a consult and recent surgery. Dr. Hutchins 1) Was/is thorough in the tests conducted, 2) Explained the path of treatment in a manner that was consumable to me as a patient, 3) Is patient and answered all my questions which were many. 4) Conveyed confidence that I would be 'ok' given the treatment options available. She is flanked by a team of outstanding individuals/clinicians that are responsive, professional, and skilled. I highly recommend Dr. Hutchins and her team.

Parathyroid surgery
I no longer have any parathyroid glands thanks to Ms. Hutchins. She assured me she would have me feeling better almost immediately after surgery. She didn't do what she said she would during 1st surgery so I required a 2nd surgery. She followed no precedent set for this type of surgery. Run don't walk away if you have hyperparathyroidism and need surgery!

Absolute WORST Bedside Manner
Honestly, the absolute worst bedside manner. Didn't take my concerns seriously or gave a clear cause of the issue I was having. Not friendly, and definitely would not trust her to do any type of procedure or surgery on me. Will not be returning and will be seeking a 2nd opinion. Her main concern was getting out of the office and not helping me figure out what was going on. Such a disappointment!

Being a former patient of Dr. Knasis and since he retired , I met with Dr. Hutchins for a consultation regarding the possible removal of a papilloma. Because of my history and having had three papillomas previously in the same breast, that were all benign, we decided to just wait and see until next year’s routine mammogram whether to remove it, if it showed any changes. Dr. Hutchins was very compassionate and explained the reasons why she thought I could wait until next year to decide if I needed to have this papilloma removed. I appreciate all the time she took with me explaining my current condition. I would recommend Dr. Hutchins to anyone looking for a compassionate knowledgeable physician.
