Dr. Debra Tennen, MD

I've never been spoken to as rudely as I was by Dr Tennen who I saw for the first AND LAST time today. She was angry from the second she walked in the exam room. She was angry at her computer for being slow. She was frustrated and aggravated that the young man who checked me in dilated me. She was angry the information he wrote wasn't up to par. And then she was angry and rude toward me. She spoke to me so rudely I had to ask her to please tone it down in front of one of her assistants. She was angry at me for not knowing exactly what happened to my eye during sleep the night before that left it sore with foggy vision, even though It happened in my sleep. I have no idea if she's a good doctor. And since I'll never return to find out, I can only speak to her disposition that was condescending and juvenile rude. I can only hope others have a better interaction with her. Even if she were having a bad day, she should not project her frustration on her patients.

Dr. Tennen is an excellent Dr. She took concern in all of my symptoms when I was ave a difficult time. She explained everything so I would understand. She is very nice and joyful

Dr. Tennen helped me get fitted for Contact lens. My contacts fits great and feels comfortable! My vision with them on is even better, my old optometrist could not get the job done like Dr. T. She is great doctor, she is caring and straight to the point! I definitely recommend seeing her!

Dr. Tennen is very knowledgeable and took the time to discuss her treatment plan to alleviate a dry eye condition. The symptoms have decreased tremendously. Staff was very helpful and professional as well. Thanks Dr. Tennen

Great doctor! Went in for my routine exam and I couldn't be any more satisfied with her care and the entire staff.

She's super smart and direct. She always has my best interest at heart and is thoughtful with her plan to get me seeing as well as possible. I had a bit of a tough to treat dry eye problem that she helped me with, and I'm not an easy patient. (the office staff is really nice too, as is the facility).

Dr Tennen performed lasik surgery on me and it was a life-changer. What I liked most about working with her was that she was so clear in her communication. Every step of the way from pre-op to post-op she told me exactly what to expect, how things would feel, what would be going on. She prepared me for the good and the bad of the procedure so I felt comfortable each step of the way. She is not only a top notch Dr, but has impeccable bedside manners and comforting communication skills. A++

I've been seeing Dr. Tennen since before she opened her office in Agoura Hills. She trained under the Opthamologist that did my cataract surgeries, and was in attendance during those procedures. She has always been friendly and informative during my many visits from just the routine to emergency visits. She is now in West Hills, and in a more convenient location.
